I have 3c curls and straighten my hair once a year if that to protect my curls. In the past I used babybliss and hot tools. This is the straightest my hair has ever been from roots to ends. I didnt stretch my hair before hand either. I straightened on the couch while watching a show, lazy style and it came out amazing. my hair reverted beautifully on wash day with NO Heat damage! My hair took only one pass, I used naked brand heat protection with a little oloplex oil after and preferred my old tried and true jojoba oil. I live at beach and humidity is abundant. im happy with this straightener and will probably do it a lil more often now. My hair is to my waist when straight. 💡My one thing I would change on this straighter would be to add a notification when you are out of water in the chamber. I ran on twice and had no idea.

Fascinating!!!!
I have curly hair type 4B and I usually wear my hair curly. I do go to the salon and occasionally straightened my hair. My friend suggested I try the tymo version at her house which I liked the result but I found this brand online and saw the steamer option seamed very interesting. I used it for the first time and not only did it cut the time to get my hair straight by half, it left it SUPER soft. It usually takes me 2 hours to get my hair done, but this time in an hour I was done.I have never done my hair by myself and left it super soft, I only get it like this when I go to the salon. I am impress and fascinated with this product. I HIGHLY recommended.

Never Going Back
So I mean, I really thought I wouldn’t be impressed. There is no way steam can straighten my hair, right?! WRONG!!This is a serious game changer. Not even kidding. Super easy to use, didn’t put myself (although you can tell it gets HOT) and had a healthy style when it was all said and done. It took about 40% less time to achieve the same style I would using a traditional flat iron. My hair felt so smooth, soft to the touch and was super shiny (I have no product or leave-in on my hair). My hair was wispy, not dried or oily. Not stiff, it was perfect. AND…did I mention it gets the roots with precision?

Best hair tool on the market!
I bought this to help tame the ends of my wigs and let me tell you, it restored their shine and sealed the ends after just a couple runs on the steam at lowest setting!! This hair tool is a major game changer and for the girls with thick curly or wavy hair, it’ll tame that frizz with no issue! Super easy to fill the tank and is ready to use within seconds!

Game Changer!!!!!
I have thick naturally curly hair. Even straightened it bounces up. I saw this on FB and the video showed someone with hair like mine so why not try it!!!Love, love, love this!!! I only used it on the medium setting, but wow! Hair is straight, no frizz and even straightened out my problem area- the back crown of my head.Game changer in 15 minutes!

Review for Natural girlies
I bought this primarily because I was intrigued by the steam function. If that's why you want to buy this, gone ahead and skip it. It's nothing to write home about. My hair is natural, mostly 3C but 4B/4C closer to the front of my head. I used the design essentials blowout system line as the prep for this. It has never failed me. I used my RevAir on level 7 and heat setting 2 to dry/stretch my hair. I used my unbrush for detangling followed by my wide tooth comb.Even with all that, this brush still kept snagging on my hair, no matter how small the section! When I'd go back in with my detangling tools, they would glide through. The only thing that sorta worked was using a rat tail comb, (which most naturals don't use for detangling) and even then, I would still get a few snags and it would rip out a clump of my hair 😡.Because I had to work in half inch sections, it took me 3 hours to get through my head!! And that was after doing a full wash day. For reference, it usually takes me 2.5 hours for my regular wash day styling included. My hair was really soft after, but it definitely was NOT sleek, it was poofy. If you have relaxed hair, or loose curls, I could see this working for you. But if you have coily/kinky hair, this is not for us. Maybe as a touch up, if you have a silk press, but definitely not to take your hair from its natural state to straightened.

Straightens really fast, easy to use if you want a straight blowout look
I really love this straightener. I have pretty curly hair and occasionally like to have it blown out or straightened. This is really easy to use, the lowest heat setting works great on my thicker hair, there’s no frizz, and its much faster than a normal straightener (esp because I can straighten bigger chunks of hair). The machine itself can absolutely still burn you, especially if the steam gets too close. This also lacks style versatility. You can’t create waves or curls with this the way you can with an iron, you can only straighten your hair. Overall, I love how quickly I can straighten my hair with this but I do have some extra styling to do if I want waves or loose curls.

90% works
I have tried almost everything out there, I’m mixed and my hair can get curly when wet but when it drys it looks like a bush, my hair has to be straightened with a tool, blow dryer don’t really make it straight . I really like this and they give you some cool products. Instead of using water I do add some kind of oil to the steam. The cons: when using the brush straightening, you can’t brush it like a regular brush you have to hold your hair out and use the glove to straighten your hair.2. The brush straighten doesn’t hold out for weeks in a few days my hair wasn’t all the way straight unless I use it again.
