Indeed Every time I find the meaning of life, they change it!
A kaleidoscope of personal yet universal interpretations of philosophical quotes/stand points brilliantly yet simply expressed. This book is light and deep, deftly weaving humour with wisdom and questions about wisdom. A treat.

The cozy school of philosophy
What Richard Fortey's book Earth was to geology, this is to philosophy: no expertise required for enjoyment, of which there is plenty. One can imagine Miss Marple gently tittering with appreciation.

Decent book in a genre not known for high quality, thoughtful books.
Entertaining. Not to be confused with meaningful literature. Sort of like good TV is not to be confused with great cinema. But, an entertaining read.

Fantastic Book 10/10
I love this book. I have bought 4 books to gift to people because I love it that much. I love that it’s structured quote first and then history/explanation/application of said quote. I read it at least once every year and I always learn something new about myself and the quotes. It never fails that I look back and see the quote differently in different stages of my life. A GREAT read would be an understatement.

YOLO
My brother says I stay too much in my head and over think things. Bah! - no matter. I bought this book anyway. If you are like me and love to read about searching for meaning in this life, even if just added reinforcement when life gets you down, well this book is where it's at. It's light and funny and just deep enough for you to wade all the way through without feeling like you are in the deep end. The chapters start off with an excellent quote from a philosopher and then a few pages about how the author agrees, applies or wrangles with it. Highly enjoyable, relatable, and applicable. Highly Recommended for anyone above the age of 15.

Good Read
Heard about this Daniel Klein gentlemen from a youtuber, Sisyphus 55 (great channel). Now, I'm very picky when it comes to wordplay and writing in regards to books, but this scratched all of my peripheral literature needs. Especially in the introduction, this book really puts you in the perspective and mind of the author in question, leading to some seriously funny and entertaining moments. It's a fun read, for sure. Highly recommended

Living wisely
Daniel Klein offers a philosophy course about life and living well for those who wished they had taken one but never got around to it. In his engaging, clear and humorous way Klein takes the reader on a journey through centuries of intellectual challenges, all focused on what great minds have believed make up the good life or life itself. The book consists of "Pithies", short quotes from a wide selection of "great minds" that artfully capture complex concepts. Klein then provides a reason for his choice and gives 3 or 4 short pages of explanation. It works beautifully the first time, and like life, matures on return visits.

A Sore Need Indeed
This book, substantial in its inspiration, simply howls out for a paginated index to the philosophers quoted, discussed, or mentioned in it.
