This hedge cutter is great at cutting and extends really well. I am 67 and find when it is extended just a bit heavy after about 20mins. The quality is great and cutting blades cut all our hedges nice and straight. Not used chain saw yet.

Had this for a week now and used the hedge trimmer and the chainsaw and overall I am impressed, hedge trimmer cut well and had good reach for awkward areas and the ability to angle the head was very good, chainsaw has also performed well and has cut through everything so far, not sure what it’s limit is but not found it yet. Overall seems well made and pretty robust might not last a lifetime but have previously bought big name brands at a cost and they don’t last a lifetime either.Concerns -Instructions are worse than useless which is particularly an issue with assembling the chainsaw as it comes in numerous bits so learning how to fit the chain as well as full assembly took some working out.It’s heavy and takes time to understand the best way to handle it, especially at full stretch, practice first and try to keep the size as small as possible, on full extension it’s difficult, I suggest you always use the chainsaw at the smallest possible length.The chain does sometimes come off so be prepared to have to refit it during a job, you really need to make sure the bolt is as tight as possible, I also found it was more inclined to come off on branches which were not that thick so tended to vibrate a bit which it doesn’t like.Overall I think this is good value and does the job.

Really good value, does what it says!! The chain does comes off the chain saw at times, but, our shrubs were quite thick, so not a problem. Recommended 👍

Purchased in 2019, used for some light trimming jobs around the garde in the meantime and it was competent at that, albeit heavy and tricky to use. However, the product has a design issue (and this might be common with other products of this type - this is the only one I have used) in that the trimmer head is so heavy, that the plastic fixings that keep it attached to the telescopic pole are vulnerable to wear and fail. This could prove very dangerous given that you are likely to be using the trimmer head high above your own body, and if it fails it could fall on you. Luckily, when mine failed (the plastic connector simply sheared - see pictures) it missed me. Netta Direct have been horrible to deal with - I still need a product of this type so will try anotber option to see if a stronger (not lightweight plastic!) connection makes a difference when I buy a replacement.

Works well , lots of power compared to battery power . However there were no instructions on how to fit the bar and chain and also the strap . Also the fixing / bolt to hold the top of the strap was missing .

We have massive conifers at the bottom of the garden which have grown out of control. We bought this in an attempt to sort them out and wasn't disappointed. The chainsaw attachment cut through branches that were nearly as thick as a tree with ease. The hedge trimmer attachment finished the rest of the job off nicely. I was very impressed with how easy it is to use and though a little on the heavy side, the strap does help. This is a great piece of kit and very happy with it.

Very good trimmer. Goes through quite thick branches too unlike the chain saw-The chainsaw isn't as expected, struggled with thick branches.Very heavy in weight on one side, so if you struggle with lifting/holding up heavy items, this isn't for you.Assembling in general was easy - no instructions for the chainsaw but not hard to figure out.10/19 for the trimmer 6/10 for chainsaw and weight

I bought this really for the chainsaw as I was sick of our Flymo hedge trimmer sticking every two seconds on anything more substantial than a twig, and assumed all hedge trimmers were like that.Apparently not! This hedge trimmer cut swathes off a very overgrown leylandii, so much so that it didn't stick once and I didn't actually need the chainsaw attachment. It cut branches of I guess about 10mm no problem.With the extender I reached the top of the hedge, 3.5m high, and even managed to almost square off the top with the angled facility.So I guess this is just a review of the trimmer, not the chainsaw, but absolutely 5/5 for the trimmer.It's not perfect. Instructions pretty poor, takes a little while to suss but I got there. Still no idea how the shoulder attachment connection is meant to work, but as one of the clips easily became unseated anyway, I swapped it out for a small karabiner and all was good.
