The projects looked a little lean and smallish but the child who put them together was excited and happy with no complaints whatsoever. Hours of building creative links kept him happily busy and intrigued. Easy to assemble, high value for a very unique product. Worth the effort for such an educational toy.

This quickly became my son’s favorite science toy. Lots of hours spent connecting wires and making all of the different contraptions. Bonus if no mess to deal with, lol. Highly recommend!

I’m updating my original review below because of fantastic customer service from the manufacturer. I reached out Blue Marble by email on a *Sunday* and received a prompt reply saying they were mailing me a replacement and prepaid postage for me to send them the broken part so they could investigate the issue. It was ready for pickup by the USPS by Sunday evening! I have not received it yet, but I’m hoping the new piece will last longer than the last one.Original review:First off, this is an amazing toy with so many possibilities and was hours of fun for my son — for one day. Unfortunately, a piece broke off of the main battery unit after one day, so we were not able to use it after that. It’s such a shame, because this one defect prevents us from using the whole set. I wish the manufacturer offered a replacement part; I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It would be well worth the price if it hadn’t broken so soon, but it’s too pricey to order another one. My son is heartbroken; this was his favorite toy he’s probably ever received. I wish I could get a free replacement, but I can’t find a way to contact the manufacturer.

**Updated review**Broke after two uses. The main piece for the first experiment that you need for every experiment doesn’t work after two uses. Very disappointed. $50 down the drain.*Update:I contacted the company and they shipped a a new kit for free! Excellent customer service!

Educational and entertaining

My grandson has been at this for hours and days on end

I bought this for my 13yr old who sparked an intrest in circuits at school. He LOVES this set. It has quite a few different things to connect/make work. He's had it for 2ish months now and still uses it frequently. So far his favorite would definitely be the fiberoptic connectors that you can make the colors change to match the rhythm of music.
