The bulb base itself is just a little larger than the incandescent that was in the license plate light from the factory but with a little gentle persuasion I was able to get it into the mount. You can see the glass bottom is a bit rounded and slightly thinner, makes it go into the socket way easier but considering how infrequently these need to be changed out that's not a big deal to me to get LEDs.It works, it's really bright and very white. No code issues or anything because my van is a 2013 and doesn't care about that sort of nonsense.I've got lots left over to the other cars when they need it so the value is there.

Easy installation! Turned my old halogen cab lights into led lights. No issues with polarity and no error codes. I kept my original amber light housing on my old F250 and they shine much more bright than oem lights. I also replaced the bulbs in my 3rd brake light behind the cab and another amazing upgrade. Very bright compared to standard bulbs and a great price. Knocked off one star because one of the LEDs was DOA so that was a bummer. They seem to not fit as well as a standard non-LED bulb but just be careful with seating them as well as you can and they work great.

I bought these to modernize and upgrade the backlighting on my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 EX instrument cluster. They fit and functions perfectly and illuminate the guages very well, all with less current, less heat and longer life than incandescent bulbs

Very bright, as expected. Fit was good. 3 stars because they do not function well in very cold temps. When the temp was below 10 degrees F, they would flicker constantly. Super annoying. If you live where it never gets cold, should be just fine.
