I purchased this when the local repair shop told my wife she would have to take her 2004 Honda to the dealer. The repair shop could not tell her why the check engine light was on. After receiving the device I down loaded the app from iTunes. (Yes the app cost money but it's a small cost.) I installed the OBD to the cars connection terminal and started the car. Looking at the app it told me the code was for one of the O2 sensor. Checking on the web it was the easy one to remove. Installed a new O2 sensor made by the same manufacture who made the OEM one for Honda. Worked like a champ! Very pleased with the OBD would recommend it.

Does not work

Have used this item with several different vehicles and phones using the Torque Pro app. Provides all the information you can get out of the car's computer ODB module. You MUST take the time to read the screen hints to set your vehicle up. Better and cheaper than an ODBII code reader.

I found exactly what I was looking for, without having to shop around too much. Easy to use, now I'm able to do diagnostics on both mine and my wife's vehicles, without having to find a mechanic on the little bit of time I have off work.
