I highly recommend this second book to go along with their first “The Complete Smartiest Guide”! This is a go to guide to all artists, but especially those who want to create a successful business in todays art world. This is going in my collection of resources that I will be referring to time and time again as I navigate marketing and selling my artwork. I enjoy their positive mindset and informative views and guidelines to help us all out in areas that I’m definitely needing it in. Thanks Kat and Alicia for helping us out and supporting our dreams and sharing your knowledge. Forever grateful!

This is a fantastic guide of resources and wisdom from Kat and Alicia! It walks you through all facets of running a creative business so that you can thrive as an artist, and not merely survive! Even as an established artist I'm learning so much from this book and I know it will become my go-to for my launching and growing my creative business projects and products. If you're running any kind of creative business you NEED this book!

Not only is this book very well written, it's packed with great advice and very useful information. No fluff or useless information here. The resources listed in this book is worth the price of this book alone.

This book is so well thought out and organized. For an emerging artists or someone with experience but needs a refresher/encouragement on the business aspect of the creative game. This is IT. Thank you to Kat and Alicia for this GEM of a book I’ll keep in my art toolbox forever as a guide.

I wanted to like this book, I really did. I'm an artist and a small business owner. I found the book hard to read at first glance and kept putting it aside. I tried to give it another chance. I found myself getting irritated at reading it. Everything from the two column layout to "trendy" fonts to constant switching between the two authors' personal examples was extremely annoying. It's a book about everything and nothing at the same time. They are trying to make it sound like a book about any creative job but most of the interviews and examples are from the contemporary fine art/gallery sphere and bloggers.

I absolutely loved the audiobook version of The Creative Business Handbook! Ekaterina Popova and Alicia Puig offer a wealth of practical advice for artists and creatives looking to turn their passion into a thriving business. Their voices are warm, encouraging, and full of wisdom, making it feel like you’re getting guidance from trusted mentors.What I appreciated most about this book is its balance of strategy and mindset. It covers everything from pricing artwork and marketing authentically to handling setbacks and staying motivated. The real-world examples and step-by-step advice make it easy to apply the lessons to my own creative practice.If you’re an artist, maker, or creative entrepreneur looking for actionable insights and a confidence boost, this audiobook is a must-listen. This book is very helpful with addressing the right mindset that is imperative for an artist to have in order to be successful. Being an artist is different than most other professions because the art world doesn’t have a structure like other businesses. It is one of the few professions where you not only have to make the product, but you have to market it as well. One needs to have the capacity to get over rejection and all the hardships of the art world. You have to believe in yourself enough to put your art out there. That’s where this book excels where others do not They discuss the emotional component that ends up tripping up most people I know most people would not even think about the mindset first. Excellent book and I would highly recommend it.
