This Blurams camera has completely exceeded my expectations. I bought it to keep an eye on my dog while I’m out, and now I can’t imagine being without it. I did consider purchasing a more expensive camera going by the rule 'you get what you pay for'. However, given the reviews outside of Amazon online (I don't always trust Amazon reviews these days) I thought I would give it a go. I have to say so far, after 2 weeks, I have been pleasantly surprised. The camera has been excellent. I use it to keep an eye on my puppy when I am out of the house. The night and day vision is hard to fault and every time there is significant movement or sound I am notified immediately. The delay from reality to viewing on your phone is hardly noticeable, I'd say about half a second. Likewise, the audio from the camera to phone and visa-versa is the same slight delay, but always in sync with the display. Already, it has proven its worth. I was checking in on my dog and noticed it was out of its pen. I scrolled the camera around and saw it eating the plants. I came home immediately before it could do any more damage. On another occasion, I checked in on the camera and noticed the dog attempting to get out. I used the talk through option (very simple to use, just select 'talk') and told him to stop, he heard my voice and thankfully obeyed (I think he thought he wasn't being watched). I have also used the camera to effectively guide my children through a problem while I was out, again using the talk through option. Of course, all this requires good wifi for the camera and good signal from your phone.When buying a camera like this, it's actually not that easy knowing where to start given there are so many at so many price points. In my opinion, it would be hard to get better value for money. It deserves a solid 4/5. Perhaps I am being a little harsh here, but for me what stops it from being a 5/5 is the fact that:1. The initial advert when you log on to the app (it can be skipped after 3 second)2. The Micro USB. (We all know the USB C provides a more solid connection that can take a few knocks)3. The camera travels in the opposite direction when screen scrolling with your finger. (However, navigation through the app's circular pad option is better and works well and achieves 360 viewing).Otherwise, the camera and integrated app is effective, functional and usable. Providing it keeps going for a few years, it's worth every penny at £25. If I need another camera, I would buy this camera again without hesitation as points 1-3 aren't a deal breaker for me.

Its a good cheap camera which was very easy to set up.I have 3 of these around my house and they do the job that I need it for which is to check on my cat. I receive notifications when she moves in front of it or appears which is accompanied by a snap within the notification which is very nice. Being USB powered is also nice.Sometimes I get issues with buffering when watching the stream which can be very annoying. It is nothing to do with my router, Wifi or internet speeds are they are more than adequate so it must be something server side.I haven't used the recording function regularly on it as I haven't needed to. I did play around with it on the trial but found it to be not very reliable and scrubbing back through footage sometimes just didn't work. It has a small memory card slot which can be used to do a bit of recording but I think the functionality here is very limited as they want you to sign up to their cloud services.My biggest problem with this camera is the constant barrage of ads in the app. It is really annoying! It's ridiculous the amount of pop ups present in the software.I also don't like that there can only be one main user to switch the cameras on and off and receive notifications. Multiple users can control the cameras through the app which is great but only one main user can turn them on or off, this is an inconvenience for our household. I think paying the subscription opens this up though as alot of special features are behind a pay wall so be warnedBe warned, the subscriptions are not cheap and they are priced per camera. So if you have 3 cameras that would be 3 subscriptions which is a bit unfair.Overall though, for the cheap price of this camera I can live with it as it does the job, I would be tempted to sign up for additional features if they were not so expensive. Plus the constant push to try and get you onto their subscription service is beyond annoying and makes me not want to bother.This is not the camera to get for a reliable security system unless you are prepared to pay the subscription. But does the basic job of being a camera to check in.

Best purchase I could hope for. Bought it to h keep an eye on my pets when I’m out out the house and the quality is just perfect. Detects motion, sounds, can record video and take pictures and can talk through it! Actually bought two more for other premises. 10/10 recommend!
