Seems like a good quality tape dispenser. The plastic seems durable. It has a good weight to it so it stays down when pulling a strip of tape. Looks to fit multiple sizes, and the price is good. What more can I say? It's a utilitarian tool and it works fine for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. I made the mistake of jamming the insert the first time I tried to use it. I was able to pry it out and start over with the insert aligned correctly. Once I did that, it worked great! I also put a little bit of graphite on the spool to help it out but it’s not necessary. Additionally, I had some tape that has a one and a half inch core that I used an old spool of scotch tape with about a 16th of an inch of tape left on it to insert and into my 1.5 inch tape so now I can use a 1 inch 1.5 inch and a 3 inch core tape with one dispenser!

Bought another brand which wasn't big enough or heavy enough. With this one, the slot is deep enough to accommodate a new roll of masking tape, and is heavy enough that it doesn't move when pulling the tape out and tearing it off.

I like the design of the dispenser. It was bought for taping freezer wrapping paper on our bulk meat buys. It comes off with ease, one handed. Steady. Doesn't rock around. Works like a charm!
