Bought for my 10yr old. Very durable, had it for 6pm this already. We keep it outside. Cleans up very easy. She has learned her front roll and now working on the backwards roll.

I first bought xlarge straight from we sell mats manufacturer website but it was too big for my 7 yr old 4'4"/ 52 inch daughter using their website sizing recommendations. I kept it because she loved practicing backward handspring with a twin mat for her landings,plus it was hard getting it through the 36 inch doorframe because i had to take the door off to get it through. I secondly bought her the large octogon which was perfect sizing and no matress needed for her backward handspring here on Amazon. There's no 190 transportation fees on Amazon like there was straight from manufacturer. The delivery on Amazon was great and no damages and the octogon is durable and same great quality and so much fun to use. She loves doing more than backward handspring on it she does handstands, and frontward handspring, leg stretching and much more.

I had a bit of a hard time gauging what size to get so I hope this helps someone else. My child is 5’4” currently, and we purchased the size Large. She still has plenty of room to grow with it, and yes it’s pretty big, but I don’t think the next size down would have been beneficial to her. Great quality!

My oddest was determined to get her backsl handspring but with tumbling only once a week it was taking forever so we got this for her and she used it almost daily and finally nailed it. Held up well for 2 kids and a dog playing on it. It has since moved on to the next cheer leader looking to gain new skills.

Had gotten the large one for my grand daughter for her April birthday. Only thing she wanted for her birthday. Chose that size after reading the reviews and what others had purchased. It turns out she is really having trouble using it the way it should be used as she still seems to be too short for it and she’s afraid of getting hurt. That’s her, though. Just checked and realized that it is past the send back cut off time but was very happy with quality, etc but just needed to exchange it for the medium one so she can use it now for dance class.

Works great for my daughter. She has them in her gymnastics class but only goes once a week. This has helped her with her back hand springs as she can practice everyday instead of once a week.
