This unit is the real deal. Very heavy. Very solid. Very accurate. CAN BE INSTALLED VERTICALLY OR HORIZONTALLY. You will not be disappointed.

They work as advertised. However the 3 we bought, had one with a cracked black black dial cover right out of the box. And another one has mysteriously gone missing. I want to replace these dial protective covers and can't reach the seller :-(.Besides for that , they work and operate as advertised

The media could not be loaded. Wanted to have the ability to monitor water usage and this does pretty well for the price. If you can monitor the rising and falling edge of the meter's switch, you can get a resolution of 0.05 gallons. It is noisy. My house is pretty small and the water supply line is right under my living room. It makes a very audible clicking noise while running and can be heard upstairs. Not a real problem but just an FYI. I connected this meter directly to a Click PLC using 24VDC (can easily connect it to an ESP board as well). Make a little program and now I can monitor usage through NodeRED and Home Assistant. Working on a smart lawn sprinkler system and want to water based on gallons/area.

Since originally writing a review in which I questioned the accuracy of the pulse switch, I have been running the meter for another week and it has performed flawlessly. So, I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. The pulse switch works perfectly, closing and opening once per gallon of flow. It seems to be closed for about half the cycle. I did not need a check valve. I connected the switch to an esp8266 microcontroller with no issues. I did get a couple of errors at the beginning, probably because the original wiring was done on a breadboard.

Well built, solid product. It does make a significant amount of noise as water flows through it. I installed it in our crawl space so I could attach a Wifi smart water monitor to it, but can hear it through the floors when we do things that have high flow, like turn on an outside faucet.
