Great radio reception, best transistor radio I've ever owned. Sound quality is prefect for listening to the radio, great when power is off. Easy to put in my pocket or tackle box when i go fishing. Highly recommended!

I bought this because I wanted to bring a radio to work, but have it small and portable enough to throw in my pocket and backpack for each shift. I can't lug around a big boombox. I love that it not only plays the radio stations, but can connect via Bluetooth as well. I got the version without an antenna and most of the stations play pretty clear. I just moved it around the table until it finds good reception. Volume can adjust and I was impressed with how loud it can get. My coworker loved it so much she made me find it on her Amazon app so she can purchase this exact same model. She got it in the red so we won't confuse ours. I love my little radio and now I'm known to carry it and my coworkers keep asking for me to bust it out. It lasts all shift (I work 12 hours) and it has a rechargable battery. The price is a steal for the amount of joy it can bring a work shift.

The media could not be loaded. This light weight radio does it all. Blue tooth speaker, mp3, am/fm. Can charge phone. Built in flash light. Stations come in great. Sounds good. Don't let the no antenna fool you. I live in the middle of no where West Virginia nearest store 45 min. And I get more stations than my car.

It's a cute radio/mp3 and it does sound ok for what it is. A BT speaker sounds better but this won't connect to a BT speaker though it does have a headphone out. FM reception is decent but doesn't sound half as good as mp3. I wish it had a USB-C port instead of the 3 decades old USB mini port. Even micro USB would have been better. Still it's a hand all-in-one radio. I use it as an audio source for testing amplifiers and speakers. It turns on almost immediately and uses a potentiometer for volume control. Not having to wait for a device to boot is a frustration saver.

This little radio really surprised me. It sounds great and loud enough to hear across the room. I like the flash light and channel presets. Love this radio!!

This is my fourth purchase of this Speaker Radio.First the good:1. i like the appearance, compactness & portability of this radio.2. i like that i no longer have to be replacing batteries since it comes with a Lithium ion battery that attaches through a port to a (provided) charging cable which i connect to my Anker USB-C Wall Charger...very convenient.3. With an AM Frequency range of 522 - 1710 Khz, and an FM Frequency range of 87 - 108 Mhz, the speaker sound is quite good; however, dont expect good radio reception from a radio this small.4. Numeric Keypad for the Direct Entering of AM or FM Radio Frequencies.5. One of the principal reasons i bought this radio is its support for USB Flash Drive (it also includes a TF Card slot), which can be loaded with MP3 files.6. The other main reason i keep buying this radio is the price of under $20.00. I have looked at the competition and its hard to beat the PRUNUS J-189---not only because of the price---but also because of the number of features it offers, including amazon ratings of 4.2 stars.In general, even much higher priced MP3 Players / Radio Speakers have way too many complaints to justify their purchase....if it wasn't for the competition being so poor, i would have NEVER purchase this radio, because in all honesty---it is JUNK!Now the bad:Unfortunately, the bad far outweighs the good.1. First, it can take well over five hours to fully charge the battery, even though the stated Charging Time on the User Manual gives a range between 3 - 5 hrs.2. There is no Random Repeat; you either repeat one track, or repeat all tracks.3. Batteries quickly discharge when radio is Paused.4. The Fast Forward / Rewind function is flawed in that it does not Forward / Rewind fast enough (its mainly cosmetic, as are many of the functions in this radio).5. Here is a listing of the technical problems you can expect:A. A crackling sound at earphone jack when in Music Mode, meaning the jack is damaged.B. inability to maintain the mode its in. For example, if its in Music Mode, it can inadvertently (with the slightest movement) revert to Blue Tooth mode.C. in relation to B above, the programmed voice within the radio can interrup USB Music Playback with the message: “Music” , “Music” , “Music” over and over again.D. After turning radio off & then turning it back on---inabiity to resume where you left off on MP3 track. This is particularly frustrating when listening to long album tracks, because you now have to start listening from the beginning.On this last point, the radio is able to easily resume where you left off if PAUSED. Unfortunately, as i stated in #3 above, battery quickly discharges when in Pause.E. i have not tried Bluetooth Mode but i would not be surprised if there are many complaints regarding its functionality.6. Although contact information is provided, why is the Warranty Period not stated on the User Manual? is it to discourage people from returning the radio?Seriously, this Speaker Radio does NOT deserve ratings above 4 stars. i am giving it 2.5 stars.
