It was compact, lightweight and has very good sound. It's now been in use for 6 months.Notes: Sound is of a very good quality - no harshness and as quiet or loud as you would reasonably want it.It's mono only with the fitted speaker, but provides stereo if you plug in stereo headphones.It has soft grippy feet, which make it easy to safely rest on any surface.It can run on mains indirectly if you plug the charging lead into a mains USB adaptor.It's easy to tune.

Only about the size of my hand but big enough. Sound quality us pretty good for the size and can get loud. Easy to operate and pick up stations. Looks good.

Radio seems to work well. Be aware, it has a USB-C socket not Micro-USB as stated in the description, and you may need a longer cable than the one provided.

Nice and portable , we take to our grandsons when cleaning their house,their systems are to technical for us ,this is so easy too use .

I wanted a radio for my very elderly mother. This one has a rechargeable internal battery seemed like a good idea. Also I consider the sound quality is better than I expected for such a small radio. I needed to set it all up so that she would not have to worry about presetting stations etc. However, the radio was faulty and was replaced but the next one was faulty too so both have now been returned. Neither of them would play when on charge giving an error message in the display. The first would not allow you to set your preset stations and the second would only do it when you had pressed the button sequence many times! I have now ordered and received a different make of radio which functionally works perfectly though unfortunately the sound quality is worse.

A great radio, well designed, attractive, easy to use, and easy to carry around the home, plus very good sound. It is also backed up by very helpful UK based Customer Services. I love it.

It's a great little radio, packing much more punch for its size than you would expect. However, we have noticed one strange problem: It seems that the BBC 4 "pips" at the top of each hour somehow affect the radio, and it stops reception! The radio is still on , the display is still lit up, but it is completely silent, and the volume control does nothing to bring the sound up. We need to push the channel up/down buttons to go off BB4 and back onto it, and then it resumes perfectly ... until the next hour's pips! Other stations do not seem to be affected???? Is this just a quirk of our particular radio, or have others noticed this? As we listen to Radio 4 far more than any other station, it is annoying, especially as we usually leave the radio on in the daytime to keep our pets company and deter burglaries. The radio would have a much higher star rating if not for this.
