EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY
Given the price for this item, it really does represent excellent value for money. It comprises two elements, firstly the actual soundbar which is placed beneath the TV and secondly, a bass unit which you can place anywhere in the room as long as there's a power socket nearby. The two are linked via Bluetooth and that link just works. As the bass frequencies are handled by a separate unit, it allows the soundbar itself to be relatively slim and unobtrusive. It itself contains two speakers for each of the left and right channels and a central port which seems to be a blend of left and right. Although such an arrangement does create a fake stereo image, it does have the advantage of reinforcing the centre stage and thereby helps the audibility of centrally placed dialogue We have a Samsung series 7 TV and had concerns regarding compatibility, given other reviews, but had no problems linking optically or via HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Using ARC has the advantage that the soundbar's volume can be controlled using the TV's remote but there's no audio delay control with our TV to allow for lip sync adjustment, should it be necessary. Lip sync problems can arise when using a Firestick plugged into the TV for example. Linking optically did give that control but of course that is TV dependent. Others have remarked that little sound emanates from the bass unit. Whilst true, subjectively the bass ambience produced does significantly improve the overall sound. The remote control allows the user to change bass, treble and preset equalisation settings with the resulting sound being pleasant, sharp and with depth. The soundbar with bass unit can also act as a Bluetooth speaker which, when coupled to a music source, allows the unit to shine with the bass having real presence. The included FM tuner may be useful to some but, as we're in a poor reception area, the wire aerial was inadequate. That doesn't really matter though as radio stations can be found-a-plenty on Freeview, Freesat and streamed via a phone or other device. In summary, this would be a perfectly attractive and acoustically pleasant purchase that wouldn't hurt the pocket of a budget conscious buyer. You could easily pay twice as much for something not nearly as good.

Excellent soundbar for the price
I bought this product after reading other reviews. I had looked at other more expensive makes but as this is the first soundbar I have bought I thought I would go with the Majority because it seemed an excellent price. I wasn't disappointed. The soundbar is excellent and the instructions from the box are extremely helpful. I connected via HDMI arc and the soundbar worked perfectly. I suggest you read your TV manual because I had to make some changes to the sound output but once this was done the sound was excellent. I cannot believe the quality for the price. The soundbar and subwoofer connect instantly and then once it is paired with your TV you just use your TV remote to control the volume, I am so impressed with the sound. It is much louder than the regular speakers but the sound is very crisp and sharp. I watch a lot of sports and the sound is perfect. I am so glad I bought this product. The price for everything you get is amazing. I am not sure why other makes are so expensive when a product of this price sounds as good as it does. One tip I would say is follow the instructions regarding the subwoofer and pairing the soundbar. Turn off other wireless devices in that area so it can get the best connection. It took we two goes to get the best connection but after that the subwoofer sounded great. The bass is great, especially when watching action films etc. I can't recommend this product enough. The tech is great, the price is great and it is so easy to set up. Don't go spending loads more money when you can get sound for this price.

Surprisingly immersive and powerful Tardis like performance
The sound of this 2.1 (left and right channel plus subwoofer) Majority K2 design belies the size of the soundbar. The subwoofer is 'wireless' so needs a wire to the power socket but no wire to the soundbar itself, so can be hidden out of sight, yielding a surprisingly immersive and tardis like experience far beyond that delivered by a TV's internal speakers - and I have a Sony XH95 which apparently has some of the best sounding speakers of modern flat panel TVs. Suddenly your TV speakers you were happy with will sound really tinny in comparison so beware! The sound is rich and natural with good bass depth and impact and while the sub can 'bottom out' and pop (distort) with music that has deep bass rhythms this was not a real issue when watching TV and movies (for sound recordings see my Amazon profile YouTube channel). The HDMI ARC integration means it can be controlled (power and volume) from the TV remote control so its own remote is only needed for changing source to Bluetooth for example. The soundbar dimensions mean even on a low stand it will likely not block the picture but you'd be wise to check this. It's worth noting that the K2 speakers are actually offset to the left in the soundbar so when you place the soundbar centrally on your TV table less sound comes from the right (though this isn't really noticeable) and while the soundbar itself is longer than some designs like the Creative Stage v2 the left-right separation is actually even less at 56cm at the widest point rather than 60cm on the Creative and 70cm on the Bomaker.Bluetooth makes it useable for playing tunes from your phone (it also has a built in FM radio though I didn't use it) and the sound is much louder and more powerful than from my Echo Show 8, though the USB socket doesn't seem to support use as a laptop/PC audio device which would have been nice. The only slight negatives are the slightly garish logo on the sub (which thankfully, as mentioned, can be hidden from sight) and the sound EQ mode indication displayed being a numeric code. The K2 has 3 modes Adj which is fairly flat and clear, Movie which kills mids and Dialogue which boosts lower mids and reduces treble. Adj has the most clarity but can sound a touch tinny and sibilant in the treble (though much less tinny than TV speakers); I settled on 0 for treble and 3 for bass.Unusually it comes with all cables and batteries so you are ready to go immediately. Majority also plant a tree for each unit so overall a great value system and a good choice if you want an inconspicuous setup (with the sub hidden from view) that really surprises with the extra bass but won't upset domestic harmony.
