Keeping the battery on my spinner charged
I was gifted an old spinner, and decided it should have a solar charger so I don't have to pull the battery out to recharge it. I went with the Moultrie brand, just to match the spinner. It plugs right into the port and is keeping my battery charged with no issues. Of course, it is summer, and it gets full sun most of the day. I shall see how well it does when the hopper is empty and I move it to a spot that is a bit more shade during the day, but where the deer are visiting more.

Don't know if it's working or not
The install went mostly okay. I am using it with the Moultrie fish feeder. However, where is the BUILT IN BATTERY INDICATOR mentioned in the product description??? I have NO way to know if this thing is working or doing anything. I plugged it into the power port on the feeder, but there is no "satisfying" click or "snap" to know if it's connected correctly. You just have to keep forcing it in (the rubber plug fits very tightly) and hope for the best and that things are correctly lined up to make a connection and not break. On another point, I think it would be sturdier if the directional brackets were metal as well. If a good sized bird (owl, hawk, heron, etc.) land on this thing, that could be the end of it. I don't have to worry about raccoons or squirrels because I have the feeder installed on a 4x4 post with a large baffle. I also agree with some of the other reviewers that the connection cord needs to be LONGER...
