Thankfully, not brought for summer.
I did think that this would help with the heatwave we were promised. LOL. Thankfully, I also wanted something to help dry the washing during the winter in combination with our dehumidifier. Given the great British weather, it's already been used for that and works well.My wife, who has a medical issue that means she can struggle to cool down also loves it. Even on low, she gets a nice breeze from about 3m away. On high, the Met Office will be issuing a yellow warning for inside. Two little niggles are that it only blows straight where an oscillation would have been useful. Secondly, the base leaves marks on some surfaces. We put in on a PVC window sill to blow cool evening air into the room and had black marks on the PVC (they did wash off). For a blower, that clearly isn't a fan, it makes a much better fan than models that cost 5 to 10 more with the added bonus or being brilliant for DIY, drying wet bathrooms and airing your laundry.

I don't think anyone is going to use it for the purposes intended for
No-one is going to use a drying at the cellar. They talk about it like it's a nuclear thing that you should never plug into it extension cord. It appears to be a thing that can only be used by experts in the trade, it's no more capable exploding the ordinary dehumidifier, so basically, they've got the market wrong if they want to sell more of these things it would be in gyms and places where you need a bit of flow in the summer with very short in the UK. Three years ago there was a girl who was in the pub and she nearly fell over with heat exhaustion because she was a bit overweight and couldn't deal with heat but they could've done with one of those things blasting in her face what she was going about her job. They bang on about earthing it well all UK plugs have an earth so I don't think you need to worry about that. The strange thing is, it goes from three then to two then to one. Obviously, Americans don't have gearshifts. So it's all very American, however it works pretty bloody well, the air coming out of it is crazy so for such a small ticket item it actually works quite well. It should have a slight heater in it and become a clothes dryer people would buy it if it was.

Brought as a house fan as I’ve wasted so much money on ineffective fans.
I brought this as I was really struggling to keep cool in this current heatwave (July 2022 @ + 24degrees). I’m at that age were I get hot flushes and also my illness makes me feel hot even on cooler days. Wow, this is worth every single penny. I currently have it sat at the other side of the room on the lowest setting and I feel like I have my head (actually my whole body) stuck out of the car window whilst driving at speed to feel the air. The breeze is wonderful and this is the coolest I’ve felt for a long time. I know it’s not traditionally made as a house fan but that’s what I brought it as because I’ve wasted so much money on fans that you can’t even feel if your more than a metre away from them. Even the more expensive fans don’t seem to be efficient unless you are almost right next to them. Ok it’s not the most attractive item but what fan is? It is however fairly light to carry and appears to be very well made and sturdy. The performance outweighs what it looks like and it’s cooling the room down brilliantly. I’m going to sleep so well tonight without overheating like I have the last few nights. It’s not very noisy either if you have it in your bedroom. All you can hear is the sound of the air being pushed out and not any fan noise (or ratting like fans do when they get a bit older). I’m very very impressed and I highly recommend this for you want something better than a standard fan. I’m going to buy more of these when I have the money so everyone in the house has one because my eldest son has already nicked it for a few hours whilst he cleaned his bedroom (which he tried to say it was too hot to do so it’s worth buying purely for this reason………..any parents of a teenager will understand this one, lol).

Great Fan
Got this to dry out the void under the ground floor, it does shift the air in. Fits nicely over an airbrick so can force air in under the house quicky to dry out. Also great to dry out walls to speed up painting!

superb item
very useful for drying out damp or drying anything in general. Not heated but a good gust of air and the extra socket on the machine is brilliant.

Powerful!
I bought this during the recent (brief) heatwave to keep my living room cool. It is highly effective! So powerful, even on the lowest setting it gives an icy chill - on the hottest day I sat with it right in front of me and within a few minutes had to move it, I was dithering!Unlike rotary fans which tend to only circulate warm air, this fan actually sucks in the warm air and blows it back out icy cold.It has a 3-pin socket on top for another appliance to be plugged in, so the unit itself doesn't reduce available power outlets in the home. It can even be daisy chained with other units to cool an especially large room or hall.Highly recommended for anyone who needs a powerful, effective alternative to rotary fans.

Great fan
I have marked it done because it's doesn't have a timer like my other one. This is good though, like it has a plug on it it self. Don't like how it start on the fastest setting them you have to turn it down. Always forget this and end up not being able to breathe when I turn it on🤣.For the price it's brilliant, so much better than a tall fan for cooling. Easy to store in the winter, small and compact, bit noisy.

Brilliant & versatile.
The air flow is brilliant & in the right direction adjustable to suit the strength of air flow. Solid built & design. Not wobbly, very stable. Enough cable length. Very versatile can used for many different purposes. Satisfactory purchase.(There is a reset button on the panel of the device, read through the entire manual & it doesn't say what the reset button is for or even mention it at all! But was ready to use out the box & works very well.)
