Know What You're Buying
After reading some reviews on here I decided to make my own. Something I think people need to understand is that the Magic Bullet (MB) blender was made for very specific use. I haven't seen the info-mercials but I can say that for me, this is the perfect blender. Here's why:1. Size - The MBs compact size means it's easy to store. This is crucial for people who don't have a lot of cabinet/counter space. My counter already has a coffee pot, espresso machine, toaster, knife rack, etc. I need a blender that doesn't take up very much space, so for me, it's the perfect size because I leave it sitting out. The extra accessories can be left in the box it came in and put in the attic or basement for storage if you won't be using them on a regular basis. I only use the 20oz cup.2. Ease of Use - We live in an age where people want simplicity. By design, the MB already has your serving size pre-determined. This is great for people who are conscientious about their portion sizes. In addition, it makes clean up easier. There's no need to pour your drink from a pitcher to a cup, so not only are you using less dishes, but the design of it is just like cleaning a glass. Also, there is only one speed of the MB. This may seem like a detractor, but the switch between pulsing and pureeing works well and should handle any job a normal blender does. I found this surprising omission to be one of its best attributes, hence it's specific use.3. Functionality - I've only used the MB to make smoothies/shakes and it works great. Some reviewers have complained that the MB underperforms in this area but I think it is a case of operator error. They must be using it wrong because after I got the hang of it, I found that I have a perfect smoothies/shakes. What I would recommend is to blend your ice (approx. 5 pcs) and milk/water (approx. 1 cup) first. Break the ice up by pulsing the MB. Once this is done, add in whatever mix/powder you want in it. Mix it in by pureeing it. Lastly I add half a banana by pureeing it as well. The result is a perfect drink without any ice chunks. I find for smoothies it works better than a blender. All in all I highly recommend the MB if the details I listed earlier are what you're looking for. If you want more than single servings at one time I would look elsewhere. Otherwise, the MB should be able to handle any job a traditional blender does.

Magic Bullet Delivers What It Promises And Then Some!
The Magic Bullet literally saved my life! I was hospitalized twice during the summer for the same intestinal condition and when I recovered, had to blend and puree EVERYTHING that I ate for 2 weeks each time. I didn't have a lot of room on my counter, and I needed something powerful. I took a chance, having seen no commercials or ads for this product, and bought it. Thankfully it was Amazon Prime and it came in the promised 2 days. Until then, I was on an all liquid diet, so I didn't need to start blending and pureeing yet, but the Magic Bullet was there and ready for me when I needed it. It is WONDERFUL! I l-o-v-e-d the forewarning in the directions not to let the Bullet run too long or the food would be blended into a moosh (NOT a quote). This was exactly what I needed. I also purchased the blender pitchers so that I could blend larger amounts of food than allowed by the attachments that came with the Bullet. I've graduated, thankfully, from pureed foods, so now I use the Magic Bullet for the conventional recipes. If I hadn't had the Magic Bullet, I'd have landed back in the hospital again. It's strong, it's powerful, and it's fast beyond belief. I do suggest that you purchase the protection plan along with this product, and insist that they send you a printed copy of the protection plan because the computer version is too small to read. This is a great product. It delivers what it promises. it would make a fantastic shower gift or any other kind of gift for someone who needs a blender but doesn't have a large space. I love the additional attachments that can be purchased, like the ice crushing blades, etc. Very versatile product. I love it.

This Magic Bullet is five star fantastic. Bear with me as I will eventually get around to my point. In January of 2015 I underwent surgery to remove my larynx. Because I am on a soft food/liquid diet, my meal choices are limited and somewhat frustrating. A Carl's Jr. television commercial can provoke me to hurling the closest heavy thing in and through the television screen. My wife bought me a top end juicer so I can "juice" my food and therefore enjoy the things I miss. Listen...let me tell you something. It's completely possible to juice a 20 oz. porterhouse steak, but I won't recommend it. Oh sure...it captures the taste perfectly, but the cognitive dissonance is brutal. Vomit-inducing brutal. Besides that, it's a major PITA to clean afterwards and you MUST clean it after every use or it becomes a bacteria staging point. The downside is that the juicer doesn't liquefy everything. Take for example, strawberries. It makes short work of liquifying half of them but the other half is pushed into a staging area for "pulp". This pulp is the parts of the strawberry that it could not convert to liquid, and you end up wasting half or more of your finished product. I scoop mine out and save it for ice cream toppings and even milk flavoring. But with this Magic Bullet, There is no waste, no pulp and cleanup is quick. I am able to make my strawberry sludge, as my wife calls it; in a matter of 10 minutes. It works great. I don't use my juicer any more. It's put away with the Christmas decorations. That's a good place to store it. I'm reminded of where I put it at least once a year.
