Was waiting for these because they seem to be the only noise cancelling earphones on the market that charge via usb-c like my phone. Their noise cancelling is good for the form factor and price, almost completely blanking out the background noises of a busy bus. However, these don't use the LDAC bluetooth streaming of their triple driver predecessor, or even APTX, meaning the low bit rate noticeably lowers sound quality. The resulting sound is still pretty detailed, but flat and personally unenjoyable to listen to. This might have been made worse by their shallow fit, but I heard a similar review of their sound quality from someone they fit well. Finally, the passthrough feature didn't help me hear anything useful in the surrounding environment, only odd noises at high pitches. If active noise cancelling isn't a necessity, I would recommend non noise cancelling earphones with good passive isolation and a nicer sound.
