🎸 Power-packed tone, anywhere you go!
The MOOER Baby Bomb 30 is a compact 30W micro power amp pedal designed to drive 8-16Ω guitar cabinets. It features a Presence switch for tonal warmth adjustment and a volume control that, when pushed beyond 12 o’clock, delivers a natural tube-like overdrive, making it an ideal portable amp solution for musicians on the move.

Awesome tiny amp!
This thing rips! Crazy amount of volume and a nice clear tone, sounds better than expected even with no pedals or modeling on the front end. Nice and quiet with only the slightest background hiss. Definitely worth the money and I’d buy it again. The only real downsides I can find are that I wish it had a power switch, so you don’t just have to unplug it every time to turn it off, and the same thing most reviews mention:The low end of the volume knob is crazy sensitive. Dialing in a low volume can take a out of care, because it’s easy to bump it just a few degrees and have the volume blasting. Once it’s up to about 90 degrees of its range it’s much more smooth and mostly adds gain and tone rather than volume, and it can be solved by keeping the volume low on the pedal before it, but it’s worth being aware of.

The speaker output CANNOT be grounded or it makes loud buzzy noises!
(edit) I originally left a poor review because I could not get this unit to work without making a huge amount of buzzy noise, but I figured it out.The fix is to float the speaker output. I.e., make sure the output jack doesn't make contact with any ground path, including 3-prong power ground, chassis ground, or signal ground.I'd tried lifting the power supply ground, replacing the power supply, transformer-coupling the input, and nothing worked until I tried floating the speaker output ground (I'm driving a Leslie 16 speaker cab, and the custom controller had the speaker grounded). The sound quality is excellent, and the unit is noise-free as long as the output is wired properly. The tone switch is a nice touch, and provides two very usable settings.Only 4-stars because Mooer wasted my time and money not leaving that very important wiring detail off their packaging.

Clean power with fine articulate response of your playing technique for very small cost
I play in an 80s or older metal style, in the style of van Halen. Malmstein, hair metal and so on. I use emg active pickups in a affinity squire body with a scalloped neck. I am older now and play only for my own pleasure. I usually play with a brugera 5 watt class a tube amp and use a sonicake processor as effects/ preamp. The baby bomb is more powerful, and perhaps partially because of that just as articulate or more so to the touch than the bugera besides being much easier to deal with physically. The volume on the baby is very sensitive initially so I would recommend using your preamp/pedals to control volume more precisely. If you don't mind using a separate preamp/processor/pedal the baby bomb presents a very viable portable amplifier with very nice sonic capabilities that can effectively drive a 4/12 cabinet.

Times are changing!
This little sucker packs a punch!! 30 watts dosen't seem like a lot but trust me, its LOUD. Drives my 4x12 with no problem, dosen't effect my tone, clear and fairly quiet. There is a slight hiss but nothing distracting or annoying. No more lugging around heavy and bulky heads, even though a fancy expensive mesa head looks great and impressive, i know because i owned a badlander. With these micro boxes being made these days you can get any tone you want or need without going into debt over it. Who cares what other people think. Do what sounds good to you.

EXCEPTIONAL
Excellent and creative electrical engineering with this little baby amp. Clear, ultra clean, and a very accurate projection of my guitars pickups and my playing style (heavy blues and dark jazz). Massive headroom - pedals delight in showing off their ability with this amp. Very controllable. Provides lots of options for tone and vibes with your rig. If your looking for a very nice amp regardless of output volume order this, I feel you will appreciate what it has to offer. Build quality feels rugged and durable. Packaging is top of the line (which gives the initial impact of a company that takes pride in their product) unit comes with it's own power source, saving valuable time and stress in trying to make sure a correct power source is obtained. I feel this is a very fine piece of equipment that will provide the guitarist a valuable source of clean power that won't determine the artist's tone for the artist but rather allows the artist to explore and create their own tone through their manipulation of pre-amp pedals and individual technique.

Does exactly what it promises, but very noisy (ground issues)
I bought this little amp based on the price to shoot out my traditional tube amp against all of my high end modeling software. When it comes to performance, the Baby Bomb 30 absolutely delivers. My NeuralDSP plugins screaming through my cab completely outclassed the normal amp.Volume is great and was capable of drowning out the drummer during a metal practice session. It gets loud very fast, so if you're hoping to play quietly, you'll want to control volume going in or use a load box/attenuator like any other amp. I didn't notice any particular coloration from the box.The only issue I encountered was the very prominent noise from poor grounding. I wasn't expecting silence, but the level of electrical noise being transmitted was on the level of a large fan running. This was at moderate amp volume and proper gainstaging. I A/B tested it against another power amp that performed absolutely clean, so I'm 100% sure the issue is native to the Baby Bomb (it also helps that the drummer is an electrical engineer). I have not tried a power conditioner with it yet, but if I have to invest a lot more into this thing, I would rather just have a Power Stage 170. It isn't a huge deal for practice sessions beyond the sustained annoyance, but I don't think it could be used in a gigging situation like I hoped, which makes it very hard to recommend.
