This is my go-to case brand, and once again, Spigen nailed it with the Ultra Hybrid for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.Design:The clear back shows off the iPhone’s beautiful finish (especially if you got one of the new colors 👀), and the bumper adds just enough grip without being bulky. It’s slim enough to slide into your pocket easily, but still feels solid in the hand.Protection:I’ve already dropped my phone twice (don’t judge), and not a scratch. The raised lips around the camera and screen give me confidence that it's protected from everyday bumps and face-down placements. You get that peace of mind without turning your phone into a tank.Button Feel & Fit:The button cutouts are precise, and the tactile response is perfect — no mushiness. The case fits like a glove with no wiggle, and wireless charging still works without any issues.Final Thoughts:If you want a case that’s minimal but not flimsy, stylish but not overdesigned, and protective without the bulk — this is the one. Spigen continues to be one of the few brands that consistently delivers quality at a reasonable price.Highly recommend if you want to keep your iPhone 16 Pro Max safe without hiding its looks.

Yet another great case from Spigen to protect my family’s phones. Amazing aesthetic, and rock solid protection.Dropped my phone on concrete multiple times while digging keys out of my pocket, carelessly playing pokemon go while waking the dog, or trying to juggle groceries in a parking lot. No damage... yet.Obviously, this case won’t make your phone indestructible, but it does greatly minimize the chance of damage. And after dozens of drops with various phones over the years, I’ve had zero damage so far.Have been using Spigen brand cases for years now and have been impressed every time. They are my go-to phone case brand now for me and my family. Amazing value for the money!

As a mechanical designer, I appreciate attention to details and a craftsmanship mentality.I noticed that in this case design, and its form fit and function. The 3-D appearance on the back is not graphically induced— meaning it’s not printed. Somehow they actually got things to show real shadows and make it look three-dimensional which it is. I like the raised areas (see red arrow in the picture) that protect the case design when it’s lying on a flat surface.I am normally a minimalist person, so initially, I wasn’t sure if this was a good choice for me when I got it. However, after a few days it’s grown on me as it does have a well executed layout that isn’t heavily distracting and adds to the overall effect of the device it’s holding. Granted, that’s entirely subjective. But, for being manufactured in a company based in South Korea (if I’m correct) I’d swear it was German made.

This case went through a real-world stress test when my scooter crashed and slid across concrete with the phone screen-side down. While the screen protector took some damage (as expected), the Spigen case did an impressive job protecting the back and sides of the phone—no cracks or major impact damage. For everyday use, it offers great peace of mind with reliable drop protection, and the MagSafe compatibility works perfectly. Also, no yellowing so far. Solid, battle-tested case.

Will update if opinions change over time.I prefer minimal protective cases to guard against incidental damage and minor bumps and drops. This case seems to service that function well, with an interesting hi-tech design providing an X-ray of the phone's interior. I usually like to add a hardened glass screen protector, and in the past have had challlenges finding a case that wouldn't interfere with adding that additional protective layer. This case has just enough of a border around the screen and the camera to allow the installation of tempered glass guards which is a bonus.The button covers work well, and seem to be precisely aligned with the phone mechanically for proper operation. I was glad that Spigen chose to do a cutout around the camera touch sensitive button.The material of the case is slightly softer than I expected, and I've already noticed a scuff mark probably from rubbing against items in pocket, but it's doing its job and protecting the phone. The graphics screenprinted on the case feels slightly raised, and I've concerns that they will wear off quickly, with a translucent plastic case it seems like it would have made more sense to print the graphics on the interior of the plastic, or encapsulate in a top coat.My only complaint is the bumper around the edge of the screen and camera lens isnt very high. With the screen protector installed it is almost flush with the surface. Prior Spigen cases I've had stood a bit higher than the glass and offered a good bumper when dropped on flat surfaces.The case is relatively easy to install, the only challenge being getting around the bulk of the iPhone 16 Pro camera body which is a rather large obstacle. Once installed, it fits snugly without gaps or movement and feels of high quality. It adds just the right amount of bulk to the phone to make it feel comfortable and secure in the hand, while not being difficult to get in and out of a pocket.A good choice for people who prefer to maintain the natural size and feel of their iPhone, with a moderate amount of protection against daily use and abuse.

Great product for the money. Not too thick but leaves the phone protected. A little hard to put on at first but again it leaves no doubt in mind the my phone will not be damaged in any way if it falls. Charges no problem with my wireless charger. Also, the sound it makes when I place my kickstand is so satisfying.
