My granddaughter broke her leg, this was a perfect gift to keep her busy.

I played with this before giving it to my great niece. I found the pen a little weak, making it difficult to get the pieces to move reliably. I made a new pen with stronger magnets on my 3D printer. It also had the benefit of being easier for little hands to grab because it was bigger.Otherwise I like the fact that kids can group by color or by shape. So learning can focus on two different aspects with the one toy.

Its very hard to keep your kids engaged in one toy as they easily loose interest. I bought this for my son, at first he did not like it. But once I showed him how to place the shapes using magnetic sticks in the specific boxes caught his interest. This toy is one of my son’s favorites. He plays with it atleast once everyday.

I got this for my granddaughter who is three. I thought it might be a little advanced for her and at times she gets a little frustrated but overall she does better than I expected. I love to play along with her. She’s a little rough with her toys but this is one tough toy! it has smooth edges and the top is securely fastened so I don’t worry about small pieces getting out and it’s adaptable so as she ages there are other ways to play. Great toy

I bought this for my grandkids. My four year old granddaughter worked all by herself and got all the shapes matched up! This is good quality!

This product is not made with the consumer in mind. It’s hard to ‘clear’ the slots. It needs another inch at the top because it’s very hard to shake all of the magnets out of the grooves to start over. Magnets need to be stronger and the pencil should be pointed, not flat. It’s hard for children with orthopedic problems to make the magnet pencil to fit perfectly flat to glide the magnet. If the pencil was more pointed instead of flat, and the magnet was stronger, and more space at the top, then it would be a much better toy. Poorly designed.

I got this for my friends 3 yr old and she loved it! Keeps her busy. Only downfall is the plastic cover holding it all together gets scratched almost instantly. I can imagine it will only last a few months before the scratches are so bad you can't see past it anymore.
