I really like this USB C hub. It is really light (Much lighter than I was thinking it would be) and it is durable. It is exactly what I was hoping for. Far exceeded my expectations. First, build quality was far superior with the solid aluminum case. I bought it to use it with my laptop. I used the two USB-A ports for Keyboard dongle + Memory thumb drive. That worked great. I then moved to the HDMI output. That output worked flawlessly for my 1080P monitor, my 4K monitor and even my 720p portable monitor. The 4K youtube videos were flawless. In summary, everything I tried worked as designed.

We acquired this USB C Hub with the expectation that it could serve as a substitute dock for our Nintendo Switch. Recently, our original Switch dock malfunctioned during a family gathering, preventing us from playing games on the TV together. Opting to give this USB C Hub a try as its marketed for it, I'm happy to share that it successfully resolved the issue and can fully function as a dock for the switch.Typically, we don't use the TV for gaming on the switch, as the kids prefer playing individually on their own profiles. However, during gatherings or family gaming sessions, we enjoy projecting the game onto the TV. The USB C Hub's compatibility with the Switch proved to be a significant success, perfectly meeting our needs. Additionally, it's versatile enough to function as a multiport adaptor for our Mac. While not a constant necessity, it has proven highly useful in various scenarios involving different devices. Sort of a jack of all trades if you would.Whether it's for the Nintendo Switch, Mac, or similar devices, this USB C Hub has proven to be a valuable addition. Priced at under $20, it offers extensive functionality across multiple platforms, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone that has any of these devices.

I got this mini hub/hdmi converter when I was given a new laptop from work. I am a network technician and wanted this to be a good replacement for a simple USB-A hub, as my Dell came with a separate HDMI dongle. This consolidates the two into one device. I do wish it had a network adapter, as that would be a perfect trifecta, but that's ok. I found it to be a little wonky for me, sometimes loosing connection, especially when in the field, but gave it to my coworker who uses it as his primary USB-C > USB-A adapter. He says he uses the hdmi at home when working from home, and it handles the load perfectly. Deducting one star because IDK if it was my laptop or the device that has the issue, but it's more likely my laptop. For the cost, it's worth a try and the results are good, if not great, according to my coworker.

Ok, I am sure you have seen different USB C hubs that can connect multiple HDMI sources (this can only do 1) and multiple USB A and USB 3.0 connections (this can do 2 USB 3.0 connections), has data and power for USB C ports while plugging into the USB C port.This one is a 'minimalist' hub - USB C into the device (laptop), USB C into the hub for power transfer, 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 HDMI port. Why would anyone want to limit themselves to just these when you could have more and more and more ports?The answer is simple - those are the only ports that will be required to support that user! All those other ports are simply clutter on the desktop. This is perfect for a minimalist. Not a lot of ports to clutter the hub or the desktop. Solid feeling build quality.This simply does what it does and doesn't try to do everything. That is what I want from this and if you agree, then this hub should merit your consideration. 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this compact USB-C multiport adapter works.Likes:- Passthrough charging worked fine, even on my power-hungry "workstation" laptop that takes almost 100w of power. I plugged my charger into the input port on this adapter, and I have charging, monitor, and USB all with *a single cable*.- Very compact and lightweight, makes this perfect for travel.- Video performance is very good on my HD monitor. No flickering or disconnects.- USB-A ports work well with my devices.Dislikes:- The only issue I have with this adapter is that I get a periodic "USB Device disconnected" or "Unknown USB Device" pop up on my macbook and pc laptop. I'm not sure if there is a setting my OS that I need to change, but the fact that there is an unknown USB device in the hub that is causing my computer to complain is distracting. All the ports seem to work perfectly, so it is only a minor issue. Let me know if anyone has a workaround. Until then, minus one star for the annoyance.Overall works well and is very compact.

This is an adapter from USB C (male end) to HDMI and USB (female connection).There are two USB 2 access ports and one usb-c access port.There is also a female HDMI access port on this docking station.I got it primarily to use with my Samsung phone. This allows me to access a thumb drive so I can send content to my clients when I don't have an internet connection.I don't have to take the time to log my laptop to a nearby free Wi-Fi connection. I have spotty internet access here at home, but that doesn't matter now.Without internet access I can save my work to a thumb drive. Then I simply use this adapter to access the thumb drive with my phone.I send as an attachment with an email or through Asana or Dropbox.I have used it several times already even though I've only had it for a couple of days! It works great.I have not used the HDMI access port and honestly don't know when I ever will. But for my use, being able to access thumb drives through my phone with this handy device, it gets 5 stars.
