Perfect remote replacement once I had my locksmith program it! All functions worked, and only took 2-3 minutes to program! Even the locksmith was shocked, lol. Looks and feels exactly like my original!

It's so easy to replace these it's of me about 10 minutes on my 2011 Land Rover LR4 key fob. It's a high quality piece but it does not say Land Rover on it. If you're worried about that get one from the dealer and paid 300 bucks or whatever. If you don't care like me this is a cheap alternative that's better than having a remote that falls apart. It's a little finicky but you'll get it look up a video online.

I have a 2011 LR RV and the silicone covers kept coming off until I lost both. These fit perfectly and are nice and tight. The only thing is that the key compartment doesn’t close or open very easy.

Works great! Looks very nice. Took a while to work out how to take it apart to put my remotes insides in, it snaps together so a little prizing done the job! Remember to open key and battery sides, and there interchangeable as well, so don't get stroppy with it,be gentle, and it will be like new! Doesn't come with instructions! Just be gentle or you'll end up with two naff remotes!Works perfectly! And fits easily in the Faraday pouch which I recommend for security purposes!

Struggled to get it open. The metal spring got bent trying to get the key inserted. I dont recommend.

Looks almost identical to OEM. Metal sides are slightly different color and no logo on the back (as described). However the fob case does not come with a blank emergency key as described, though it was easy to swap out the key from my old fob case. Once I figured out how to remove the key from my old case and open the two sides of the new case, it was a 2 minute swap. Deducting 1 star for the missing blank key.

Was easy to assemble. Found a video online. You can reuse your original key also. I took all the parts from my original fob to include the key and put in this shell. Great replacement.

Side by side comparison of the OEM key vs the Amazon key.... Enough said.The metal part is swappable just like 'Sparky McGee' said in his review. The only thing that is slightly different is the red color which is slightly darker, which I didn't notice until I put them side by side for the photo. Now you know which one is OEM and which one is the Amazon key case. IMHO - That is not even close enough of a good reason to deduct any stars. Everything from the OEM key fits absolutely PERFECT in the new case. So if you're looking to replace your Ranger Rover key remote case, you've found the right one here.
