Excellent for Hydrogen Line Radio Astronomy
This is an Outstanding addition to the nooelec product line =an Antenna actually Designed for 1.42GHz .. !The science / hobby of Amateur Hydrogen Line Radio Astronomy is extremely rewarding. Search SARA : Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers for information. They now have dozens of videos to help amateur enthusiasts get started.The attached photo is from an 'upgraded' radio telescope based on a nooelec antenna similar to this ... it is a plot of 24 hours of acquisition of Hydrogen Line Spectra Data from the Cygnus region of the Milky Way.
