You can buy these under a variety of guises so shop arround. It is not as strong as I expected but not flimsy. It is easy to put on but not so easy to get it tight and, therefore, thief proof. I was disappointed to see rusty water dripping from it the first time I took it off, indicatingt a lack of corosion protection internally. The lock seems to be good. The sleeve and cover for the lock is weak soft plastic and broke on 1st use.It is a deterrent. Accidentally my pal moved off with the trailer without removing the clamp, he failed to notice it!! It came off and lay on my drive. Now whether that was a one off, maybe I failed to put it on tightly enough, I cannot tell. Value for money - ok if you buy it cheaply enough, the price varied enormously. Cheapest on Amazon.

It will put people off pinching your trailer. Once you get it to hold tight so it is not slack.

I had to return this as I'd miscalculated the width of the tyres that I wanted it to fit. However, in the 5 minutes I had it out of its packaging, it looked fairly strong, and easy to fit.
