Misses a number of key areas for sleep safety with babies.
Bought this as it came highly recommended by a couple of freinds, however:Pros:1. Light weight2. Extremely easy to assemble3. Stable on the floor / ground4. Well designed with good ergonomics except as follows:Cons & question marks:1. Mounts on the floor... as most people will know humans have raised themselves off the floor for years to avoid the draft currents that flow at floor level - the sides are mesh so drafts pass through and around the baby / child. The ground level temperature can vary down by several degrees from bed level. (12-24inchs). Who would sleep their child on the floor whilst they were comfortable in a raised bed...?2. Insulation: the mattress is more a price of foam which once compressed provides little to no insulation from a cold or hot floor - beware if you have under floor heating. The mattress needs an extra level of insulation & is only firm because the child is once laid on it essentially on the board directly above the floor.3. This is ideal for an expensive hotel stay or warm climate holiday (except where you have crawling critters the fancy a bite out of a small child) and as a safety pen for small children4. As a bed I have serious concerns when it comes to temperature control and regulation particularly with a small baby.5. The price tag is extravagant! For the price I would have expected an even lighter price of equipment probably using carbon spares instead of the alloy.Conclusion.If folds and packs easily, is light and portable, but the mattress fails to meet basic expectations, as for sleeping your child on the floor I guess that is down to individuals circumstances and assessment of the situation. Extremely expensive for what it is although like weddings and funerals add an extra zero. Could be lighter with the use of lighter modern alloys and plastics.Overall it gets a 3 star rating with caveats!Note: I receive no royalties or offers or compensations for my reviews. My opinions are my own based on 25 years in design engineering, research and development all over the world.

Not great for short women
This is lightweight and is easy to put up.Cons: it is really difficult putting your baby in the cot - the sides are high and this strains your back - especially if you are short. The bottom touches the floor so you need to ensure you put something under the cot - as having a cold floor means having a cold mattress for your little one.You are better off with a cheaper cot than spend the money and strain your back.We are going to use ours as a play pen now - had to go out and get a different travel cot.

Almost perfect but problematic for plane journeys
This is almost perfect. On the plus side it's really high quality, the mattress is comfy (my 7 month old happily took to this on our recent holiday and seemed to sleep longer than she does in her regular cot) and it's super easy to assemble. It's reasonably lightweight and packaged up nicely too.On the minuses, it's frustratingly too wide/long for hand luggage allowance on a plane. We snuck it on on one leg of the flight but not the second, meaning you may need to fork out for extra luggage charges. This seems to be a problem for almost every travel cot out there, but for the cost I'd have loved to have seen babybjorn come up with something that really can travel everywhere.

Nice fitted sheet but why doesn't it tumble dry!
This is a lovely fitted sheet but it isn't perfect. The fit is well sized for the mattress and the material is lovely and soft. They wash really well. There is a lovely gathered elasticated strip all the way round the mattress which securely fixes it and holds it in place. It can be machine washed, but cannot be tumble dried. It is the most disappointing thing about the sheet. The product should be made so that it can be tumble dried. Babies can use up lots of sheets and the fact that they cannot be tumble dried is annoying. Also, these are really expensive. I have also ended up having to buy a different brand of waterproof, breathable fitted undersheet to place underneath this Babybjorn fitted sheet to protect the mattress because the company don't make anything like that to fit the travel cot that these sheets are designed for. Because of the size of this mattress I think I would struggle to find an alternative fitted sheet that fits so well which is disappointing as it doesn't appear to be a standard size.

Not worth the money - average at best.
All in all it was a bad buy. Had high expectations as the Babybjorn stuff is usually great, but the quality was more £50 cost than £150 cot. After doing a bit of research I'm not the only one to have the same issues, sides very high, my wife is 5' 6" and struggled bending over to pop kiddo down properly, the sheets aren't brilliant and don't fit great, so there is the worry about possibly getting tangled and also the mattress is straight on the floor, so depending on the floor temperature you can end up with either hot or cold mattress. I've returned it for a refund, all in all, not impressed.

Too low..
This is lightweight if you’re travelling by car, it’s still not really built for public transport. Which is slightly annoying, as kind of beats the objective of being a ‘travel cot’. However could have put up with that if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s directly on the floor. So if you’re in a hotel, camp site, then all the germs and bugs have good easy access.. this was returned for that reason. It’s base is also quite small, so won’t last long if your child is above average in height.Otherwise the construction of it, really is very easy.

Brilliant travel cot
It’s great. We bought John Lewis travel cot sheets that fit perfectly (seconds at 2 for only £7.50).Slight update on the previous model we borrowed, it now has straps that fit through the bottom of the cot to secure the mattress in place to the legs. Makes putting up and down a little longer but no bother.

Great travel cot
Extremely easy to fold and comes with a convenient travel bag and a good mattress. It also comes with a sheet. The only problem is that it is quite low to the ground. This means that if your baby isn't use to this is can be quite of a shock to them to be so low down to the ground.
