Great for teaching cutting and fine motor skills

Children seemed impressed that they are allowed to use scissors. Work great but would say, would be surprised if a child 3 or under could use them.

Bought for 3 year old who enjoys fine motor activities to help them prepare for school. We bought some suitable small round tipped scissors for them to use with it as our scissors were both too sharp and big for little hands but the plastic scissors are very hard to use. The book was great with lots of downy cutting patterns and shapes. As other reviews noted, some of the areas to cut are really close to the seam which make it too difficult to cut so it's worth ripping out the pages that you want to use before attempting to cut them. Some of the shapes also were fun for colouring in so we got quite a lot of use out of this.

Good value of money

Bought this book along with scissors for my granddaughter. We love it, it has good instructions and really easy to follow plus you get the chance to colour in pictures after. My granddaughter who is 3 get really excited to practise her cutting skills
