K&N High-Flow Original Lifetime Engine Air Filter: Increase Power: Premium, Washable: Compatible with 2008-2015 Honda: Accord, Crosstour, 33-2402

I’ve used K&N products in the past and they never cease to amaze me. I just got a 2010 Honda Accord and the last owner left it in crap condition. I changed my old air filter to the K&N air filter and the car drive ten times better. K&N provides performance and efficiency in all the products I’ve bought from them and this time they didn’t lack whatsoever. The engine ran better, gas mileage is great, and the V-TEC kicking in is way more burlier and louder which is a plus! Overall, great product, easy to install, performance from a great brand.

Replaced the stock engine air filter for my 2011 Accord EX-L 2.4 4cyl with this one and i can immediately notice the acceleration improvement in the vehicle. The engine sounds much stronger, and it is no longer the muffled sound i used to hear with the stock air filter. When merging on highways, a slight push of the accelerator pedal and the car gains the speed quickly. Anyone driving an Accord with 4cyl would know what i am talking about. It looks like mileage is little better than before. On an personal note, i don't have to change filters as often as paper filters, reducing waste, i don't have to pay ridiculous charges to change air filters at a service station, saving money, i get better mileage, saving money again, and i get much better acceleration, which is cool.

Truly a great filter! Filterwise, comes within 1-2 percentage points of the best throw away paper filters and well above government Standards. You may not feel the 3 whp it delivers but you will notice throttle response is improved. You don't have to touch it for 50k miles and when you do, just wash, re-oil, dry and go. Make sure not to use excessive oil though as this has been the cause of much contention on many forums. Simple, clean, cheap power. I have always trusted K&N and so have my friends. One of which had 180k miles on his VR6 GTi; every mile with the same K&N. Again, this is the best performance panel filter on the market bar none.

I got this mostly so I don't get soaked for expensive paper filters from Honda for my 2012 Accord. I didn't notice any increase in performance that can't be attributed to the temperature cooling off, as is normal this time of year. (cooler temps = higher performance, due to denser air)But it was worth the price, just not to have to mess with it for 50k miles. ;)I bought one before for my 1998 Civic, which was great for 170k, as long as I had the car. I'll probably keep buying them until the car mfrs. (and aftermarket) realize they're actually LOSING money by trying to screw people for so much money for a paper filter.

I purchased it in December and writing the review after using it for almost a month.My car is HONDA ACCORD 2.4 Model 2008 Made in Japan for your reference.I installed it in 2 minutes just watched a Youtube video.The quality is fine; it's all-plastic anyways, better than paper.After installation, I can feel the change in the pickup; it is a bit smoother.The car is running smoother, gear shifts are smoother, and I love the sound from the exhaustHowever, after a few days, it will feel normal.Gas Mileage is almost the same or maybe a little better; I can't tell us as I drove my car this month very fast compared to normal days and go the same mileage.So it seems it delivers better mileage.

So I love my car and keep it in top condition. My family owns a repair shop so I do a lot of my own basic maintenance. I was on the fence about this because more air filtering less isn't really a good thing, but improved MPG, throttle sound, and wash ability eventually pulled me to the dark side. I've had a few cars / trucks / motorcycles with K&N in the past and none ever had issues. I'm doing some long road trips this summer and wanted to get more smile factor from my car. (roved MPG isn't bad either..) All and all I like the filter and since I have so many others and have the recharge kit it was kind of a no brainer.

I have a Honda Accord 2012. If you compare the OEM filter and K&N, you will notice the difference in area which actually captures the air entering into engine. The K&N appears to be smaller in comparison. It is very easy to install as every other filter.The biggest challenge is the cleaning. If you follow the video instructions from their website, you will end up consuming a lot of cleaner. No cleaner can clean small insects trapped (please check the photograph). There will be traces of insects after careful cleaning. Their work instructions fail to address or accept it. You will have to gently remove the trapped insects from filter element. This part is not addressed in the K&N cleaning instructions. It is not easy to apply oil. I do not know the bad side effects of excess oil on the filter or oil on the filter which is not 100% dry (winter problems). These are un-answered questions. Considering these aspects and additional cost of cleaning supplies, it may or may not be worth buying it.

K & N air filter is an excelent. This product will increase your horsepower and at the same time will save you gas. When you drive your car, you going to fell the car going a little faster in higher gear more than in low gear. This is the best produce for the money.
