Would rarely leave a review but these are fantastic. Had awful bother being woken at 6am by some very loud birds but the morning after putting thses up around the garden, nothing! They moved a few trees down. Have recommended these to the neighbours for their gardens too.Yes theyre a bit fiddly to set up but leave them to soak for 15 mins in hot soapy water and they peel right off.

I would have given this product five stars because they are very effective in the garden at scaring off birds; the only problem is that it takes 30 - 45 min of fiddly work to assemble - and the most difficult is to take off the milky white plastic film that is stuck onto the metal disks - so fiddly and frustrating - also beware of the sharp metal edges - I cut my finger on the first set

These have proved quite effective at distracting the birds who were popping all over my balcony. The only caveat is that when there's heavy rain, the light reflection isn't so good and therefore the pooping birds did come back! But compared to the daily mess I was getting and having to clean up, it's a big improvement.

I was looking for something to brighten up a dark corner in my garden. I looked at various 'spinny, shiny' ornaments but couldn't find anything suitable. I found these advertised and thought they look great and they are. They come with connectors, hooks and things to make the discs spin (if you want, but I've just connected and attached to my fence, so won't be using as a bird deterrent). It's a bit tricky to take the backing off but they come with a sticky 'backing remover' and it really is easy. Just be careful as they are a little sharp on the edge. They look great. Highly recommend as a 'different' garden ornament.

I should have read the reviews properly! What rubbish these are! Like many others I’ve had a nightmare trying to peel off the films and one side with the useless double layer! Too much hassle to send back but if I can save someone else £10, then find another product!!

I bought these Repellent Discs and a roll of Repeller Ribbon. I was desperate. My little white dog had been in our garden, and come in covered in bird poo! The same week, less than 24 hours after my husband cut the grass, I had picked up 23 Pigeon poo's! I hung the disks in the tree and around the garden; I think they look great. They work better when the sun shines, as the pigeons don't come near, but still a deterrent when it doesn't, because they've been nearby, but not in the garden. I put 2 pieces of the tape up, 1 from the centre of the rose arch, and 1 piece from a ground level ornament; they blow in the wind, and when it's still, they're easily seen - and even though there's been more overcast days than sunny days, I've not had any problem since! I may remove the tape in a while, but leave the Discs up until the weather changes, because I like them. One last comment. The purchaser has to assemble them. They're not difficult - I put a few together one evening, and the rest the next day. For the price of the discs, I believe they are worth a try for everyone who has a problem.

This product is dangerous!!!I will accept that it is cheap and does what it is meant to do and will distract birds from nesting in a tree (and depositing in my car below).However the reflective plates are wrapped in a ridiculous amount of protective film that is dangerous to remove - there are no instructions as to how to remove and while there are "removal stickers" provided they are utterly ineffective.Like others I sliced four fingers with blood injuries just trying to remove this packaging ... can't be that environmentally friendly either given the amount of waste plastic and waste plasters on my fingers!The birds are scared though so worth the sacrifice??

I've no idea if this will be effective but it was very fiddly and irritating to assemble. Anyone with hand pain/arthritis/poor eyesight would struggle. The assembly was not complicated, but the removal of the film was very tedious. Only to be tackled if you are feeling cheerful and patient! Given these cost 10 quid I feel they should have come with the film removed.
