Solid Oak Crystal/Blue Snowflakes Ornament Kit

thank you for snowflake ornaments so made easy !!!!

I got four done before I realized I was not going to have enough beads. Not even enough to make an even fifth ornament. Also the beads are all plastic not crystals. Most disappointing.

Very pretty, directions need to identify bead colors better but overall they look higher end when assembled. Definitely need pliers to bend wire as it is very hard to manipulate

They are very nice and easy to put together. I didn't like that 80% was plastic...they say crystal...not so.

They turned out beautiful . truly beautiful . gave them as gifts in the envelopes they came in everyone pit them directly on their trees . and now they're still keeping them out for winter

We made these over Thanksgiving - kids from 5 yr to 60. I think the five year old was better at putting the tiny beads on the wire than her grandmother! Everyone enjoyed stringing the beads, but there was a bit of frustration if the snowflake got turned before the end piece was set, as all of the beads would slide off - so for younger kids a bit of supervision is necessary. The older two grandkids (9 & 11) had no trouble doing this on their own. It was quite fun and the end result was a beautiful snowflake ornament to hang on the tree.

Beautiful ornament kit. Easy instructions. I was shorted 2 of the largest beads. 2 of the snowflake wire forms weren't good. One had 5 spokes and another had 4. I wont buy this brand again. I ordered to similar kits from same manufacturer they came yesterday. I haven't inspected or counted beads. I hope the kits are complete. I ordered these just today crafts with my mom. I don't have any other beads or wires to fix incomplete snowflake wire form. Not sending back shipping costs to much.

I purchased this to do with my mom for the holidays in hopes that it would be a fun craft kit for adults. Upon opening, one of the arms of the snowflakes was already broken off. The wire is extremely thin, fragile, and difficult to work with, causing us to break two more snowflake arms when trying to bend them closed. We used regular pliers because that was all we had, but craft or jewelry pliers may work better. My dad tried fixing the broken arms with super glue (did not work) and by bending the wires around the center, which ended up being the best solution, though the broken arms hang loosely from the bottom. The one that arrived broken ended up being unusable, so we were able to make 5 snowflakes. After making the 5 shown in the picture, we only had small blue and clear beads, and some tiny silver beads left since they did not include very many of the medium and large beads. The very tiny beads silver beads are difficult to string and easy to lose, so it can be very time consuming and require a lot of patience. The large crystal beads were the best quality and easiest to work with. Some of the blue beads had holes partially obstructed with plastic.Overall, I give it two stars because we still had fun working on it together and some of the snowflakes did turn out nice. Thankfully the kit wasn't too terribly expensive, but it would have been so much better if it was made with higher quality wire and beads.

Steel was easy to place beads on but very hard to finish to the ends.

The snowflakes look beautiful but the weld keeping the wires together didn't hold on 2 of them.
