I was hesitant to purchase this because there were not many reviews and it seemed a little expensive. However, it was a great purchase and a real hit. He sleeps with the shipand also takes it in the bathtub. The ‘cabin out building’ has batteries and cannot get wet but the ship is fine. I like the comprehensiveness of the toy for imaginative play given all of the accessories like the smaller boat, parrot, shark etc. The anchor did come unattached too easily, but that was an easy fix. Good product, well designed and promotes creativity and curiosity. Would buy again without hesitation.

My little girl loves this pirate ship set. It comes with a great selection of little toys for the price. All toys in the set seem good quality, and have held up to my little one dropping it a few times. The sounds are nice quality and not too loud. I was surprised to see that the ship and the little jail/hideout make sounds. The song it sings is so cute, and I love watching my little girl dance along and say “me mateys, yo ho!”This set seems better than some of the big name brand ones, like imaginex. We had an imaginex pirate ship for my son, and it was nice, but it didn’t sing or make sounds like this one. It also didn’t come with a little treasure chest, like this one, and the characters were small for older kids, but not as great for younger ones. I would say if you’re one the fence about Imaginex/ similar brand or this one, and you’re buying for an age between 1-4, then go with this set. Anything older than 4 would probably have more fun with an imaginex or similar brand.For reference, my little girl is almost 2, but I also have a 5 year old that still has fun with this set, but it’s just on that border where she may not play with it as much if it wasn’t for her playing with her little sister. But then again, grown ups (myself and husband) have been caught playing with this little set too :)

I bought this as a present for my 2 year old nephew, and he absolutely loves it. It was a big hit. He sat down and started playing with it as soon as we took it out of the box. Lots of fun little features that keep him interested and occupied! I'm very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend!

My two-year-old grandson is obsessed with this toy! He loves the pirates and especially the bird that you can move around and he takes the mini ship into the bathtub with him! Highly recommend!
