GRAVE BEFORE SHAVE Aphrodisiac Blend Beard Balm (4 oz.Tin)

Smells great. However even when using a pretty small amount on a big beard, it ends up making little white globs. Looks as bad as beard dandruff. It must be the coconut oil, because no other balm I’ve used has done that. I’ve started using beard oil first, and then just a tiny amount of this on the surface of the beard to keep it tamed. It sort of works, but isn’t ideal. If they revise the formulation, I’d buy it again.

To start, I do not generally like men’s fragrances. I am asthmatic and really heavy and intense smells tend to give me full blown asthma attacks and basically that is how most men’s fragrances are (at least to me they are anyway). of course I still want my husband smell good too and for his mountain man beard to always be at it’s best so I’m always on the hunt for that perfect smell that makes him smell delicious but doesn’t put me in the emergency room. I came across the grave before shave beard oil in the mall and I fell absolutely in love with it. Aaaand of course the only think on their cart I wanted and it was completely sold out. Needless to say I was ecstatic when I found it here on Amazon and not only that but I also found that they had a beard butter and the Aphrodisiac Blend Beard Balm in the same scent too! I bought the whole set and don’t regret it for a second. Now I get to regularly enjoy my husband’s scent and Not pay for it with my life. And a plus, borrowing his sweaters after he has warn them has become a whole new ballgame. This stuff is yum delish and I highly recommend.

A wonderful scent of leather and cedar wood, neither of which is too over powering. Have bought nearly all scents and this has topped the list! One and only gripe is that apparently this did not get packaged by Fistacuffs LLC., as this along with 3 other 4 oz tins I bought contained NO SWAG. Only a disappointment as I have become quite the collector of all things GRAVE BEFORE SHAVE and thoroughly enjoy the accessories usually sent in these packages...

I used it once and tossed the can. The Aphrodisiac scent was like a cheap bathroom air freshener had just been crammed up both nostrils. It was powerfully scented, like a freshly opened Air Wick air freshener.My wife said it smelled like a cheap "old man" cologne. I didn't get that relation, but either way, it's not good. It's literally the opposite of an aphrodisiac.Absolutely awful.

Aphrodisiac is actually a really good scent. It's one of the only ones my wife doesn't mind. I love GBS products. It definitely keeps my beard soft and shiny. My only complaint is it doesn't keep my beard all day. Most, but not all day. The beard butter may be my favorite product from their line. I 100% recommend to anyone with a beard!
