LOVE STORY Perfume for Women, a 60mL Oriental fragrance with Sultry Fruity Top, Floral Heart and a Vanilla, Musk, and Sandalwood Base Al Maghribi Arabian Oud

I ordered this LOVE STORY EDP, as well as the MUZN EDP, which is also made by Al Maghribi. I found Love Story to be only somewhat feminine upon first spraying, smelling a bit fruity and only slightly floral, with stronger notes of Tonka, spicy Arabian Musk, and Sandalwood. It seemed more manly to me. It came out very strong, but did die down to somewhat more of a feminine scent that I was okay with, but it really wasn't my style.What was great, is that I tried the Muzn, and really didn't like it at all, but remembered reading that this line of fragrances are great for layering together. They absolutely are! After lightly spraying on the very manly smelling Muzn, I decided that I had to try something. Anything, to change its scent. I got out Love Story, sprayed a small amount on top, and it made a dramatic difference.The two combined fragrances turned into a lovely, soft, lightly floral scent, with hints of vanilla and musk. It is purely feminine, and the scent is no longer overpowering, but toned down into a beautiful fragrance that I will enjoy wearing.Though, this is not my type of scent on its own, I think it will layer well with many fragrances, not just ones that are from this Perfumer. I have a few other fragrances that are not quite my faves that I will try layering them with. If you like a more unisex fragrance that dries down to a bit more of a spicy feminine scent, or you are into layering, I would definitely recommend this EDP.

Love Story is a heavy, sultry fragrance—it took me by surprise. I guess I didn’t expect such a pervasive scent from the ingredients listed within the product description. This is perhaps best suited for the woman who wants to make a statement as she enters any room. I find it a bit overwhelming, as does my husband. Fortunately, the strong scent fades after a couple hours, but it's still not one I enjoy too much. I've included a complete ingredient list for this particular fragrance.

This beautiful bottle of perfume arrives quickly in a lovely box, perfect for gifting.I did not like the scent of this perfume when I initially sprayed it on me, the scent when this is wet it not pleasant. Once this dries however I do like how this smells. The scent is a stronger scent, not floral or feminine in my opinion. The fragrance lasts a long time in my skin, I don’t need to reapply at all during the day.I like this fragrance, I will wear it when I go out for an evening.

The fragrance has a beautiful bottle and a unique scent.I can smell hint of raspberries at first and then it dries down to a petroleum smell.When I mix it with another fragrance that’s the only way I can wear it.It lasts about an hour on its own.

Being older, I have my "back in the day" favorites like Opium and Poison for fall/winter and Eternity for spring/summer. This perfume is floral but with a spicy backdrop that can go in the fall/winter and that is my favorite "scent-scapes." Perfume reacts with your body chemistry so this could react differently on other people, so all I can say is that I love how it smells on me. Good size bottle that is cute - a heart-shaped bottle with a heart-shaped cap. Personally, cute bottles are a pain as I have a shelf that is fairly full of perfumes and other items I use regularly and a straight up and down bottle would fit on the shelf better than this one, but that's just me...the perfume is nice and would make a wonderful gift.

With couple of sprays is enough to smell this fragrance which is long lasting.It comes in a nice packaging.The scent is not my favorite.

Having lived in Dubai for several years, I was excited to receive this perfume as I adored the Middle Eastern scents.I can definitely detect the notes of vanilla, musk & sandalwood as well as another scent which I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s a lovely rich smell which I would wear in the evening as it’s a heavier scent. Which I love. I would liken it to Alien by Thierry Mulger as it’s intense. But it’s a different scent obviously.I like the bottle as well. It’s really good quality and goes well with the Love Story theme.Would def be interested in Ahmed’s other perfumes.
