I needed to mount a light on my motorcycle garage over the lock on the door. I wanted it to be battery powered.This little light is perfect! It mounted easily right over the lock. It is very bright and illuminates my lock so I can operate the combo. Added bonus; It comes right out of the mount allowing me to use it as a flashlight.My one and only concern was water intrusion/damage. The seam and the switch mount would likely allow water to seep into the light which would result in destroying it.Easy fix is to use apply scotch tape around the seam and over the switch. I can easily remove the tape when I need to replace batteries. I only used the switch once to set it to motion sense.Great little light! Highly recommend!

The motion detection only activates when it's dark, but other whys it's good. The adhesion fails at first, works good after, feels cheap but overall it's good.

Placed it on an outside north wall of house. Used the adhesive that came with it to stick to the house. Unit fell off during a hot day and does not work. Worked well up until then. Detected motion as described.

Bright, long-lasting, wireless, positionable, weather-proof, dusk-dawn motion detecting, that's a lot of features for a security light under $15. These lights are a ton of function that couldn't be easier to hang and use. Comes with adhesive foam or hardware mounting. A great light in a little package.

We purchased 2 lights for use in our garage. They both quit working in less than 3 months. One quit working in just 2 weeks. When the batteries were replaced, it started working again...for a short while. Now, with less than 3 months of use, both units stopped working. Replacing the batteries didn't fix the problem. They are now in the trash. Terrible product.

The switch is small and flush the the body making it difficult to use when in poor light. The cradle is a bit loose allowing the light to come out with very little effort. Adhesive is sufficient but due to the cradle, I would not suggest this light to be mounted on any moving surface. Light output is sufficient. The AUTO mode works well with at least a 20 foot range.I would suggest a larger switch that is brightly colored and raised above the body as well as a redesign of the cradle to hold the light better. If they want to keep the 360 degree movement, then I would start by looking at a dual ring type mount. You may lose a little of the range but that would be well worth it in trade even at a 20% increase in price.Reviewed by a professional Mechanical Designer with 19 years of experience.

I got this light since my porch light has not been properly working due to circuit problems. Since I get home late and have a hard time seeing the lock to open my door, I found this light as a quick fix. I was surprised how bright the light is and it helps to light up my front door well. The box includes the mounting supplies so that was nice to be able to set up the light right away!

I ordered this because my garage was dark when entered. I set this up to light an area while I and others located the main light switch. The battery-operated unit requires no wiring, is simple to install wherever you want. It shuts down in about 30 seconds if it detects no motion. The adjustable head permits directing the light field wherever you want it. Great product for the money.
