Love this good looking, easy to assemble chest!Attractive storage on my deck. Happy that it can take a couple people sitting on it if necessary. A wonderful product!

I want to love this and rate it a full 5 stars. I really do. But it leaks. The walls "click" down into the base, and the downward-facing tabs on the bottoms of the wall pieces create a leak path right into the bottom/inside. It was a poorly designed joint for leaks, although it made a VERY easy to assemble. The whole unit is fairly light for its size yet very sturdy, and went together in 5-10 minutes. The lid functions well and closes well enough to keep water out, but the water finds a way through the seam between walls and bottom. I will probably caulk/seal all of the joints to keep the water out, which I shouldn't have to do. But that $5 will be well spent.

This product was exactly as described on Amazon. It is very sturdy yet lightweight enough that it is easily moved when empty.As for ease of assembly… it could not be easier. No tools are required, everything snaps together. There is a warning that says the item contains some sharp edges so you should wear work gloves to assemble the item. That is being overly cautious as We didn’t wear gloves and didn’t need them.My grandson, who will be entering the seventh grade this fall, was at my house and wanted to put it together. I supervised, but no supervision was needed. It is very clear how the pieces fit together and he had no trouble putting it together. My sole contribution was holding one end of the long pieces while he was attaching the other end. He was proud as a peacock when it was finished.I highly recommend this product.

The interior dimension depth listed in the item information says it is 20" deep (inside). It is actually 17 3/4" deep. I had to scrunch my cushions which are 20" wide into the box, and because of this the lid would not close. I am unhappy about the inaccurate information and will return this item. (The interior length dimension is listed as 50.4", but it is actually 46 1/2". The interior height dimension is listed as 22.8", but it is actually 22".)On the plus side, the box is weather tight; it was dry after two heavy rainstorms. The directions and product design are actually exemplary. The directions were intuitive, and the pieces were designed such that it didn't matter which was the the front or back or the left or right sides. This type of design thinking is rare!

It arrived damaged with scratches on the hard plastic in various places. It is under a small covered patio so after a thunderstorm I checked it and the items inside and my patio furniture cushions that were in there were wet and I'm lucky I checked them rather than to wait and find moldy cushions I would have had to replace. Tried to take it apart to return it. Oh it's sturdy because it will not come apart so looks like I'm stuck with it. Leaks and all. Buyer beware
