Sun Yin USA Inc Full/Queen Ivory 100% Cotton Blanket, Twin

I bought the green cotton blanket and it’s such a light green, almost a grayish-green, and it just flows with my color scheme. It’s soft, but not super soft(if that makes sense), but in all honesty, I think it’s perfect. I have 3 cotton blankets on my bed(all are in the pictures), one of which is vintage and it stays on the end of my bed. I’m a hot sleeper and have gotten so tired of buying blanket after blanket, after blanket. I’ve tried comforters(forget that!) to coverlets, and even with the thinness of the coverlets, I STILL end up sweating. I had even resorted to trying silk pillow cases/sheets to try and stop getting hot at night. Even the silk didn’t help. I now have percale cotton sheets/pillow cases and cotton blankets. My thin cream colored cotton blanket is perfect as is, as it keeps me warm without making me hot, but I wanted another blanket for those extra cold nights. I threw the green blanket in the wash, dried it on low heat, and it’s still in perfect shape with no shrinkage. I’m not sure what people expect from a cotton blanket, but there will eventually be snags, etc, on them. It happens, that’s life. Shoot, it even happens to comforters and quilts. My son said I’m turning into a grandma, but personally I think my grandma would pat me on the back for having cotton blankets on my bed like she always did LOL. In my opinion, it’s worth buying!

Was hoping for a denser blanket. The quality of material seems good so far. I use it for my massage business and wash it daily. Hasn’t fallen apart yet.

it does not keep it's shape

Great basic thin blanket. Won’t keep you very warm but it is pretty and soft. It is for sure a light weight blanket. Works better as a decorative blanket rather than something to curl up with. Overall a good product for what I am using it for!

I was looking for a very light weight blanket and this one is exactly right. It's inexpensive and certainly not "fancy," but I'm very happy with it. In fact, I ordered another one in white. The white one isn't as soft as the green but softened up after being washed.

Not a real heavy blanket. Probably not the best for a lot of warmth.

I’m the type of person who has to have a blanket. This is an absolutely perfect summer blanket (I live in Florida). It does have loose weave but that is what makes it nice. I bought the ivory which I was hoping would be more creamy/vanilla but it is absolutely true to color. I’m using this on another bed because I like the lightness. It is 100% cotton. Others have said it stretches-if so, I’ll put it in the washer with hot water. So far, I have not had that problem. I’m very happy with this blanket.

I have a queen bed but always order king blankets for coverage. This blanket stretches out over time, so I would order the queen next time. The weight is perfect for summer, the quality is excellent, and the texture is quite soft. However, with the weave being rather loose, the shape of the blanket tends to change over time. Therefore, I suggest only ordering the size of your mattress. Otherwise, the blanket grows longer (or wider, depending on which way you turn it) over time. I will get out my sewing machine and take off 6” in order to alleviate the blanket peeling out from under my quilts. Avoid this by ordering the size of your mattress.

First and foremost, I want to thank Sun-Yin for such a speedy delivery. The quality of the product is top notch! I absolutely love it! There were no surprises whatsoever except as stated above the speed in which my order was received. The weather prediction that night (with snow already on the ground) called for a record breaking temp of 8°!! Virginians are not equipped to have single digit temps for an extended period of time. Trust me when I tell you!! Please keep in mind I had NO BLANKET except a twin size comforter plus I was laying my long "fuzzy" robe on my bed for warmth. Thank goodness my blanket arrived when it did. Mother Nature do your worst because after I said that she did! As predicted we not only broke a weather record but also we received more snow on top of what we already had. I didn't care I was warm as a bug in a rug! This summer I'm going to finally be able to redecorate an already furnished downstairs level of a carriage house with my "new" everything.😊 I'll definitely be doing a lot of business with this wonderful vendor. Do yourself a favor you can't go wrong doing business with them either.😉

If you're looking for a lighter-weight (but heavier than a sheet) blanket with breath-ability but no gaping holes in the weave, this is a good blanket. The weave doesn't really look like a typical basket-weave, but it is a nice, light weave all the same.I haven't washed it yet, but right out of the package, it's a good weight, supple but a little stiff and substantial. I would recommend a different blanket (the one by Life by Cotton) if you want soft, warm, and pure cotton around this price point, but if you want a red blanket and one that is lighter than that, this is a good blanket.That being said, the red color isn't a berry like the picture shows but more of a burnt sienna. Thankfully, the one who picked this blanket out is still happy with it.

I should have sized up.to.a king size. Our mattress is deep..blanket is soft and comfortable. Perfect for Summer.

Just got the two I ordered and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are indeed the sort of waffle weave cotton blanket that I was expecting (I don't know what that "helpful" review that comes up first was expecting.). Since I need to use them in a couple days for some guests, I dampened them with water and a few drops of fragrant fabric softener and put them in the dryer to get rid of the slight chemical smell from the wrapping. The smell is gone, but a surprising amount of lint also was shed -- the amount you'd expect from towels this size after their first wash. Anyway, the weight is quite good -- these are not thin for thermal cotton blankets but they have a loose enough weave that you can see a some light through them. They are also among the stretchiest cotton blankets I've had -- can't decide if that's good or bad. I think they will be perfect summer blankets for us.

For some reason it is incredibly hard to find a plainly woven red cotton blanket. The market just seems to be flooded with micro fleeces and flannels, but I dislike both because they make me sweat.Despite the lukewarm reviews I decided to take a gamble and buy this blanket. The color turned out to be somewhere between burgundy and brick, though it works just fine for my sheet set. Washing it and drying it on delicate settings seemed to do little harm to it's loose weave and as far as lint is concerned, I have a much higher quality white Egyptian cotton blanket that left considerably more lint in the catcher after it's first dry cycle than this did. 100% cotton woven blankets will always fill the lint catcher their first couple of dry cycles, it's just what they do and nothing to worry about.I wouldn't however recommend this be used anywhere else than on a bed because it does feel that heavy duty wear (like spreading it out on the ground for a picnic) would be the end of it.

I know some of the reviewers don't like the loose weave, or expected a heavier blanket. To be honest, I was looking for this blanket in particular. We have several on our beds at home and after 10+ years they were still good. I couldn't find them locally in the stores, but Amazon had them for a very reasonable price. They are indeed lighter weight, which is great for summer time. During the winter we use the comforter with this blanket. It allows us to be layered, instead of just one huge heavy blanket.One of original the blankets lived through our child being a baby, toddler, and now tween. It got hung up in her movable bed rails and still kept going. We finally replaced it when it no longer matched her bedroom decorations. The other blanket survived the cat deciding it wanted to sleep on the master bed all the time. The cat isn't declawed. We only replaced the master bed blanket when upgrading to a larger bed.We really love these blankets!

I really like this blanket. I bought the full/queen and it is a generous size! It is a looser weave than most thermal type blankets but it has a nice feel and weight. The sage green color I ordered is really true to color. However, as another reviewer mentioned, it does snag easily due to the more open weave which is why I gave it four instead of five stars. When I opened the plastic bag my bracelet immediately snagged at the clasp but it really did not pull the fabric badly and I was able to pull the snag back in place so it really is not noticeable.I washed the blanket before putting it on the bed and it did not shrink at all and washed well. I really like the fact that it is soft and not stiff like another blanket I bought recently.
