Had loads & loads of the gun type, the ones that come in pretty colours that you could buy in a popular high street hardware store. For some reason these things can work for ages or fail early & at any second, it's just the nature of the beast it seems, so the possibility of this doesn't phase me. My gun type is still working, but I wanted one for an elderly neighbour who lights range fires with great difficult with matches, and as I know the triggers can be very hard to press & fiddly, I was attracted to this as reviews said it was super easy to use. I can confirm this lighter is amazingly easy to light, with very little pressure, so prefect for an older hand. The people commenting that it's some kind of fire hazard are being ridiculous, it would be like saying you shouldn't have a gas cooker as your house might explode. I like it so much I'm going to buy one myself, I don't need it, but it's just lovely to use, might it stop working, sure, but for this price, who cares!

Has a nice solid weight and feels substantial in the hand. For some, it may be a little heavy for everyday use. For me it's excellent. Primarily I smoke a pipe and need a lighter with a good fuel capacity. This will last a week + on one fill, which is great. I have had it 2 weeks now and it lights first time, every time. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

It looks very nice very sleek unfortunately it doesn’t work very well. Very intermittent getting the lighter to actually light. Bought as a back upAs I only had one lighter, as it turns out I still really only have one, and it isn’t this one.

We've had one of these for years, bought it after getting sick of stick lighters that don't want to light, and when they do, the flame gets blown out from a butterfly flapping its wing ten feet away.Excellent, solid build. Excellent flame length range and adjustability. Easy to refill, and well sized fuel reserve. Has only the rare instance of not lighting at the first attempt, happened more when it was brand new, but quickly disappeared.Mother in law was visiting a few weeks ago and when we lit some candles she saw the long, beautiful blue flame and her eyes went WIDE! lol"I WANT one!", she said, so I got right on Amazon and had this one drop shipped to her address.

Seems to be durable. flame is very adjustable from small and soft to more then I need. The click is relatively quiet.it does have a feminine appearance in a a way but it functions better then all others and I’ve bought enough

I thought the lighter would stand up. That is seriously my only complaint that it doesn't. Love the feel, nice look, GREAT little torch! + Easy to fill + 😎

Exceptionally smooth as in how easy it is to operate. Not a super hard flame which is what I like the most about it . Easy to fill and adjust. In fact I bought another one because it’s so good in case it got lost I needn’t wait for the next to arrive.
