I bought these bulbs to use as dome light in my SUV. The OEM bulbs barely illuminated the passenger area especially since the light is not located in the middle of the roof because the SUV has a panoramic roof. The lights are on the side above the doors hidden by roof handles. After I installed these, the space is amazingly bright. These are such great bulbs, that I purchased another pack for another vehicle.I also used these as backup lights. The picture below show both of them installed and on; the one on the left side is very bright; however, the one on the right was not turning on. I disassembled the stop light to see if switching the polarity did the trick, but it did not. I noticed that the bulb was barely on (see image of the bulb against my hand).The bulbs are great, and definitely recommend them. The only issue in my case is that one of the bulbs was DOA. I am going to contact the seller to see if I can get the bad one replaced because I do not want to go through the hassle of returning all taking the other 3 out to return them. This is the reason for the 4 star rating on the bulbs. It must be just a random thing, and I was the lucky one with the defective bulb. I will update this review after I contact the seller.EDIT - 03/09/2017Seller sent me a replacement bulb for the DOA. He was very responsive when I contacted them, and sent the bulb right away. It took long to arrive because they sent it from China instead of the US. It was all good though. The replacement bulb worked great. I am happy with the seller, and definitely recommend him and his products. Keep up the great work!

These bulbs will make a big improvement in the appearance of your vehicle if you currently have incandescent bulbs. This 4-Pack offers comparable performance to similar constructed 1000 lumen bulbs at a better value and no need to worry about getting the polarity right. So...Five Stars and great for cargo bed lights, 3rd brake lights (snaps on instantly!) and better than stock as backup lights. Prepare to be underwhelmed if you need bright lights for backing-up any distance at night though. No fault of these lights, 1000-1200 lumens just doesn't do it. Even worse if your car or truck has tinted windows - you just need more light behind you for backing down dark driveways. So...I have happily installed these elsewhere on my truck and am purchasing a brighter set of bulbs for my backup lights.

*update*The seller ended up sending me a new set which arrived several weeks after my inquiry. Installed the new set in my truck in a brand new light housing sealed to the body with silicone and a gasket. same problem about 2 months later. Flickering or turning off completely. Seller upheld warranty on the first set didnt even bother trying with the second. but these things are complete junk. Would not recommend whatsoever.As far as the lights they are very bright and improved visibility greatly. No complaints on performance. First issue I had was 2 of the 4 began flickering a little after 9 months in the cargo light of my truck. For the price, I decided to order another set and give them another try. Upon reading the item description I noticed there is a 1 year warranty on the lights so I contacted the seller about replacements on my originals. No issues there they responded quickly and offered to send me 2 replacements immediately. My issue is at the end of their email they said, "In the future, if there is any problem with our bulbs, please let us know timely, as it has been 10 months since your purchasing." Now i don't have a fancy college education, but.......I think there's 12 months in a calendar year. Correct me if im wrong. Would have been 4 stars but I got the impression I inconvenienced them by making a warranty claim 2 months out from the end of the 1 year warranty window. No big deal just rubbed me the wrong way. Honor your warranty without recommending when your customers make the claim as long as they are within the warranty guidelines. If the lights failed at 5,6,7,8 months, you would have heard from me then. I'd still recommend these lights and seller despite the minor issues.

I used these in the outside light on our 2003 jayco to keep flying insects from flocking around the door at night. Worked just as I had hoped. They provide plenty of light and we had no bugs.

Bought these for my wife’s 2013 Subaru Outback. I will say these are very bright. Lights up behind the car extremely well. She has a built in backup camera and there is no issue seeing what is behind you when you back up. I bought these over 1 year ago. These are very bright, & will light up the whole inside of your vehicle. But, use them as license plate lamps, and they will start to flicker and 1/2 the light will be no good after 1 year. After 1.5 years, they’ll be 100% dead as license plate lamps. Overall a good deal, but don’t expect long life unless used as cabin lights in your vehicle.Update 8/3/2020I bought another pack of these bulbs 7/2019. This batch of LED bulbs seem to be very good after 1 year of use and not having problems.

I replaced my backup and middle high-mount brake light with these LED versions. There is a lot more light while in reverse which is good for a pickup truck. I believe the brake light is brighter and more noticeable now but my main reason for replacing that with LED was to eliminate having to replace due to burnout. The brake light is on the cab of my pickup and is a hassle to replace so I used one of these instead of a regular bulb. Hopefully will never have to do that again.

They are pretty bright but after a day of use one started flickering and went dim.
