My kid loves it, and it looks great, but it's rather flimsy once put together. If you're going to use it as a display piece and your kid won't be playing with it, it's great. However, beware that the stand is really flimsy and REALLY easily falls apart, and I've even knocked the stand apart when trying to turn on the light (it's operated by a tiny switch in the back). The pieces of the head snap together good enough, but if a child pulls on them they can definitely fall apart. The head is rather heavy, and the stand is super lightweight and flimsy, and doesn't snap together tight.Overall, I don't regret the purchase, but I wish the stand was a higher quality. I also wish there were a shut off timer for the light, or a remote control (since most kids are probably using it as a nightlight). That's where the stars really come from...I'll put it on as a nightlight, then sneak into the room to turn it off once my child falls asleep, and it's very awkward to do in the dark without the flimsy stand falling apart. The lack of these features makes me say that it isn't worth full price, but if you can get it for half off and your child likes dinos, it's probably a good bet (just make sure it doesn't scare them either!)

Overall the whole thing looks great after its set up. The problem comes after its setup when you touch it & it all falls apart. The stand is pretty useless & the light is so dim I never bother to turn it on. It looks great when it set up & for the price it's not a bad product but if you but the table or touch the stand the whole thing kinda just falls apart. If you can keep it away for everything I'd say it's worth getting

I bought this as a display piece to go with the rest of my "Jurassic Park/World" items. It's going to end up going on a shelf along with several other items in my media room after I get the shelves built.The model itself was simple to put together, has a stand that holds it upright, and actually looks pretty good. The red LED that's hidden inside the back of the skull actually does a good job of illuminating the wall in front of the skeleton.The only reason I'm giving this product four stars is because I wish the angle of the skull were a bit more "forward facing" when it's on the stand. It looks as if the lower jaw is facing forward and the upper jaw is opened "up." I'd have preferred an option where the upper jaw is facing forward and the lower jaw is opened "down" if that makes any sense.I may give it a go and try to make my own stand for it. It shouldn't really be too difficult...but it may make the red LED inside not work quite as well.Overall, I'm happy with the product.

Loved the idea of this product. And my 5 year old appreciated it. However it is not sturdy at all. Tips over and will not hold on the stand. I wish it would I would order this for all his buddies birthday gifts !!

The skull itself is well made. This only think I do not like is the switch to turn it off is difficult to find for a kid, especially when you're in the dark. I hate the base, it is flimsy and disassemble too easily each and every time we have to turn off the switch. It is accumulating dust now.Usually I love Uncle Milton toys, but definitely not this one.
