Just sent the first round through the PC and can confirm this are superior for mycology lids. Ball lids tend to crack or warp during modification, some copy cats are rigid thicker versions with the same issue. These are thick and flexible, drill fairly cleanly, and survived a 4 hour 15 psi treatment appearing as new. Canning jars are one of the best ways to organize cabinets and fridges. These white lids keep moisture out and reduce wear and tear on my metal and Tattler lids so they last longer.They seal tightly, are easy to label, and make my kitchen work so much better. Worth every penny!!

I love having these to use as jar lids for my mason jars after I open up something I've canned or just as storage, instead of dealing with the metal lids and rings that will rust. They're hard to find in stock anywhere and even though they do leak a little, I just know that and don't juggle jars with liquid in them with these lids, expecting them not to leak. Super great to have a stash of these on hand, for my purposes.Someone else mentioned these don't fit standard wide-mouth jars. They fit mine just fine. Go on easily without any problems. I use mine for dry, cool and frozen storage with no issues.

I love these. I had purchased a lot of the wide mouth 64 oz mason jars for my pantry. I organized grains, pasta, and other dry items in these jars using the white lids. It made my pantry look superb. The lids do not hermetically seal the jars, but they do provide a good seal. I cook a lot and save broth in mason jars. These lids are NOT totally leak proof. Thats okay for me. Something to be aware of. Love these inexpensive lids.

I make Good Girl moonshine every other day, and use wide mouth quart jars when I am cold steeping my teas in the frig. These lids are great for my use, but don't make the mistake of shaking a jar and thinking there will be no leaks. Seals fine for shelf use, but definitely not if you're going to shake. I'm sure there are gaskets available to prevent leaks, but that defeats the purpose of a simple lid system with less to wash. I will try these for freezing soups as well, and expect them to be a good replacement for the lid/rings for that application too.

This product came immediately. I use them on my Mason Jars to store leftovers, or drinks because old traditional lids rusted. Work perfect, fit great, and easy to use.

If you are a mason jar person using these jars for other things than canning, you no longer have to worry about rusting lids! These work perfectly on their own to hold whatever you are putting in the jars, and fit neatly over the flat cap if you want to use it for extra sealing.

I use my wide-mouth mason jars for so many different things -- none of which is canning! I use them for storage in the pantry and in the refrigerator, for making vegetable ferments and milk kefir and sourdough starter and so many other things. They are easy to use and to clean and of course do not rust.
