Ice Cream Scoop, Solid Stainless Steel with Nonslip Rubber Grip Ice Cream Spade Animal Repelle

I got this scoop to replace a ice cream spade that was NOT dishwasher save, and I mistakenly put in the dishwasher. Whoops. This one is honestly better than the ice cream spade I had anyway though. This one has more heft, and doesn't freeze up as fast as my old space did. as a gigantic bonus to me, this one is also dishwasher safe. I have washed it in the dishwasher 4 times already and it comes out just fine.This scoop also has a nice rubber grip on it, which makes the cold of the ice cream not travel to your hand, and is easier to hold on to with wet hands after washing your hands and/or scoop (like when changing flavors).Finally, when doing milkshakes, this makes better 'scoops' than an ice cream spade, which makes it easier to get ice cream in the blender cup instead of on the counter.

Rubber grip came off after washing it three times. Other than that it works fine, nice heft to it.

I really liked the scoop but realized after placing the order that I did not use my discount code that I received to give my honest review of the product. Unfortunately I could not reorder the scoop using my discount. Very disappointed.

A solid ice cream scoop with a substantial weight to it. I've only used it a couple of times so I don't know how it will fare over time--e.g. some scoops have a chrome coating that wears off with time.

After 3 months, and only a few uses, the rubber part came completely off and cannot be reattached. I tried to "pop" it back into the slot, but it just pushes down into the groove. I am very disappointed that this didn't hold up better, because the part that scoops the ice cream works pretty well. Now there is nowhere to put your hand when you are scooping the ice cream. Ugh, so frustrating.

Good quality, chrome seems to last (after 3 months)

I was excited to try my first ice cream spade. I wasn't disappointed! This went through frozen solid ice cream with no problem all. It was like the ice cream had been sitting out for at least 10 minutes. My husband used it the other day and said, "Wow! I can't believe how well this works." We are sold.

Not dishwasher safe, and not solid stainless. While more durable than some scoops it is pitting from the dishwasher. Rubber in handle falls out and is now missing actually. Probably in a drawer.
