Proved to be a problem for me
When I first place this in my printer it seemed to function. I then would occasionally hear grating from the rear. I noted that a gear assembly was not moving in the unit. Took out and reset. The noise happened again although installation was correct. A few weeks later the gear attachment from the computer broke so that the toner box was not driven. This sent error messages to the unit to stop it from functioning. No pleased with the chain of events. Put the old waste tone box in the printer and it functioned. I don not recommend this part
