This socket works well on side saddle mounts for Allison transmissions. Shallow enough to fit between frame and bolt but quality built to handle the torque

I needed this to do a transmission oil change on a 4Runner. The placement of the fill hole on the side of the transmission makes it difficult to get to with a standard-length socket and 1.2" ratchet. It hits the floorboard area. This socket arrived and I was able to access the fill port easily. The extra short length made this possible and worked perfectly. This well-built impact socket is another great addition to the toolbox. I recommend!

This stubby impact was just what the doctor ordered for working on my Kubota ZD-1211. With a deep well or even regular impact, the cordless impact was just too long. This stubby will allow it to fit and we don't have any problem with the blades getting loose now. Works great in a tight place.
