These have become one of my most favorite bar's for training for marathon's and half marathons. Gels tend to upset my stomach (depending on gel) and I have a hard time doing all gel's the whole way through 26.2. I find the flavors really pleasing overall - much better than anticipated given I dislike many other bars. They are smaller in footprint and can be carried easily. If you eat 1/2 a bar and then leave the rest it doesn't go bad or get stale at all. I put it in a baggie and use it within a week or two. They are kind of pricey - however, they last me quite a long time because I really only use a bar per half marathon or so. Sometimes more depending on energy needed. But they are more economical for a back of pack runner/walker for marathons than gel's w/o the associated effects. I also feel way more steady on these - whether that is scientifically true I'm not sure - but it definitely feels that way!

These are a nice treat on a long bike ride or hike. Sustained energy with out the crash of sugar. Expensive but worth it!

These bars are easy on the stomach and taste great. I take them on my long runs and they’re easy to eat and digest whileRunning. I ordered through the company and delivery took forever so I tried ordering through Amazon and got them super quick. So now Amazon is my go to for these products.

The solid nutrition facts and the ingredient profile were what prompted me to try this. The flavor is EXCELLENT, way beyond what I'd hoped for. A decent energy boost as well. The aftermath was a rather abrupt and sizable BM exactly 8 hours after ingestion, but with 7 grams of fiber I suppose that's not unusual. I will definitely be ordering these again, and looking forward to sampling the two other flavors.Edit: Later ordered the chocolate almond butter flavor as well. Great flavor and equally good results.

These bars are great. Rich and satisfying without sugar and do not bloat my stomach.

I've purchased 2 boxes and I'm half way through the second one when I discovered that every bar has mold on it. I usually have those energy bars as a quick snack while on my way to gym so I actually never looked at them until I dropped one on the floor in my car. At first I thought it was a dirt from the floor mat, but I quickly realized it wasn't. My mistake for not checking before eating, I know, but I would never expect it in the first place!

I love UCAN bars. They give great energy and I used to have the chocolate ones but now they don't sell them. I tried the next chocolate flavor and this tastes good but i immediately began feeling aches in my stomach and was filled with gas. I'm not allergic to almonds or chocolate but I tried again another day and the same thing happened. Sucks you can't get reimbursed for the rest of the bars so waste of a pack.
