I use this as a shampoo. I take a teaspoon put it in a 16 oz bottle, fill with water, shake. It will suds a bit and then I rinse through my hair. It works beautifully without all the added chemicals and sulfates. I have very curly hair and sulfates dry out my hair really badly. Even the non-sulfate shampoos strip too much of the natural oils away; this is a perfect solution.

I love food supplements that have health-improving qualities. Like this stuff! Yucca contains certain chemicals that might reduce high blood pressure and high cholesterol, arthritic pain, swelling, and stiffness. I stir some boiling water into a mug with a 1/2 tsp. of this and some cinnamon in it- it's slightly bitter, but that's a good thing. (Think, like coffee, right?) I got my 1 lb. bag from Vital Buy- it was the best deal and came with the "Starwest" label on it. Two thumbs up :D

I use this as a shampoo. It's wonderful.Is a finely ground powder, so it's easy to mix. I put 1 tsp into 16 oz of hot water and shake it really well. I let it sit for a day, that it's ready to be poured into my hair and used as a shampoo.This cleans but doesn't strip your hair. No conditioner necessary for me.

I use it for my garden. It takes a bit for it to dissolve but even added dry on top of the potting soil It makes a noticeable impact on how the water gets absorbed after a few waterings. Only downside are some clumps that need to be broken up

I use this for my cat's strict, homemade diet. Mixed with water, it provides the moisture required in his diet. He loves this one the most compared to other brands.

Absolute junk, has zero or very little saponins and it's surfactant properties are non-existant! If you're looking for a good quality yucca that actually has saponins and great surfactant properties, get the NPK Raw brand yucca, it's almost double the price but actually works as it should. A 16th of a teaspoon of NPK yucca to a gallon of water works great, my nutrient solution bubbles up like it should and the surface tension of my plant nutrients is reduced (it's very obvious when using foliar sprays). I could add up to a 1/2 teaspoon of this junk Starwood Biotanicals branded yucca to a gallon of nutrients with ZERO bubbling or foaming action as it should have when adding quality yucca that hasn't been stripped of it's saponins!Avoid this stripped down inferior yucca from Starwood Biotanicals, it simply doesn't work as it should when compared to quality yucca.

Although it doesn't affect the effectiveness of the final product. I purchased this as an additive to handmade soap and found it doesntdissolve

This Yucca helps to curb flareups of pain from excessive uric acid in my thumb and left foot. I only use it when needed and it seems to really help for inflammation.
