Bought again as my BH snowfoam had depleted.Really good quality car snow foam which I apply via Kranzle Snow Bottle attached to a Kranzle cold pressure washer.This BH product is really great for cleaning your car BUT you need to get the ratio of snowfoam to water correct.Takes a bit of trial and error.Apply using snow foam lance at correct spray setting and leave to dwell on vehicle for 10 to 30 mins then simply spray off with pressure washer attachment.Have tried various snowfoam products over the years, Auto Finesse, AutoBrite, to name but a few but have always found BH products to be the best.Again only gripe is that the prices of BH always seem to creep up as is always the case with a superior product.This review is my own personal experience of using this Bilt Hamber Snow Foam and oothers will disagree.Thanks in advance.

I’ve used other brands of snow foam before and had varying results. I wanted to try this as I’d seen several YouTube videos showing how good it is.I found that it does seem to remove the dirt and road film better than the others I’ve used. I must admit I do agitate the foam once on with a micro fibre mit as in the past I haven’t had good results just rinsing off the foam.I tried this foam two days ago when my car ( a RAV4 ) had been down a muddy farm track which sprayed mud all up the sides and had dried on.I gave the car an initial spray over with the pressure washer to remove the majority of the thick mud then sprayed the foam on. I agitated it with the microfibre mitt then pressure washed it off and the results were very good, probably better than I’ve got before with anything else.There seems to be a lot of discussion as to whether you should use a pre wash or not or put the foam on a dry or wet car but the above method worked for me.I’ll probably keep buying the Bilt Hamber product as it does work and doesn’t work out that expensive compared to some brands.

Not the thickest or the strongest smelling but hands down the best at removing all dirt from your car leaving it gleaming. Fantastic.

As a keen detailer I had seen reviews on this product stating it as one of the best snow foams around, so obviously I had to try it. I’ve previously used many other brand snow foams so felt I could review it pretty well.I mixed the foam as stated on the bottle, I wouldn’t usually be this keen but I wanted to properly test it as the manufacturer recommends. I covered the car in foam as usual and a thick blanket lay on the car and I thought this is good! But after a minute or so the blanket of foam had lessened by a large amount. I started to question my mix and began to think this isn’t great. Anyway after 5 mins had passed and there was little foam left on the car I was thinking of contacting Bilt Hamber and complaining. I then blasted the car off and was instantly amazed as to how clean it became with only a pre wash blast off. This stuff foams initially and then dies down but it really does cut into the dirt. So against its rivals it maybe doesn’t appear as ‘foamy’ but it cuts the dirt better than any I’ve tried yet.

A very good and safe way to contactless pre wash your vehicle - definitely one of the better pre washes on the market. Bilt Hamber uses PIR (panel impact ratio) to calculate the correct mix ratio of product/water so you are always going to get good results as the mix ratio is calculated to the performance (flow rate) of your pressure washer. It is very easy to calculate, instructions are on the container or can be found online. Overall the results are very good; it is not a high foaming product as some pre washes are, but thick foam does not mean good performance. Leave to dwell for 5 minutes then rinse, all light dirt will be gone and any heavy soiling will have been softened, making it easier to remove with the pressure washer or by hand. A useful thing to do if you have heavily soiled wheels & tires with plenty of brake dust build up is to spray each wheel with your wheel cleaner before applying this product, then spray this over the top covering both wheel and tire as it will increase the dwell time of your wheel cleaner making wheel cleaning a lot easier. I’ve used about 20L of this so far on a number of vehicles and it has always performed well. Half a litre is usually enough to cover a medium sized car, so 5L does go a long way. It’s also kind to any pre applied waxes or treatment on the bodywork and will not strip or thin these out.

Works very well. Read many reviews before purchasing and this came out on top. Foam doesn’t last too long and maybe isn’t as thick as others, but unmatched in grime liftin. My go to from now on!
