Remington Airetrex 365 UV Home Air Sanitizer to Fight Viruses and Bacteria in Home, Office or Dorm Room (REM-7365UV-120)

I've been using this air sanitizer for 3 days now, I could say that this is a good buy in terms of its importance during this pandemic. It's a must have to every household. I bought 1 unit and we use it anywhere in the house.In terms of fan noice, It's louder than a regular electric fan but I don't find it annoying even at bedtime. The only complain I have is the instruction manual which lacks on where exactly to place the unit like its distance to the wall and the instructions on how to remove the filter. But on my part, it kinda look simple to do but what about those who doesn't know anything?But I really like this, no filters to change just the uv bulb.

I just got it and its AWESOME!! Im having problems with fungus 😭 It's been a living nightmare. I put going in my bathroom ... WOW ... It killed the fungus. I haven't moved it to another room yet. Im considering purchasing another one I'm so happy I took the chance and bought this air sanitizer. It's the most affordable one on the market too!!

Fan1 mode, lamp not engaged: ~20wattsFan2 mode, lamp not engaged: ~15wattsThe lamp adds about 11 watts when it comes on. The manual says 35 watts overall so there's nothing fishy going on.I do have a concern that you can see a fair amount of seemingly direct light coming out the front of the unit. Aren't we supposed to avoid direct UV exposure? I don't plan on sitting in front of it staring longingly into the forbidden light, but won't UV bombardment potentially ruin paint/dye/plastic it may be pointed at?Regarding performance, I'm not sure how one actually rates what this thing may or may not be accomplishing. There are no particular smells or mold infestations I'm trying to control with this, I am just concerned about my indoor air quality and figured I should try something.Now that that's out of the way, the three things they asked me to rate:Thickness: I admire that I'm being asked to rate the 'Thickness' of the unit. It is indeed thick, a boxy thing as you might expect for something that needs an internal chamber to pull air through for the UV lamp to work.Noise level: It's loud. It sounds like an oven or bathroom vent fan(if you have one of those.) It's not a terribly distracting sound for me as it's very consistent.. almost like a white noise generator.Sleep mode: There's a timer you can set(in hours) after which it'll automatically shut off. I haven't used it but it's such a simple thing I have no reason to believe it won't work. After consulting the manual again it appears it has a similar auto-on function you can set which I also don't intend to use.

I bought this for my living room. It makes noise but that's about it. I also bought 2 small portable ones & I can smell the air.. it smells Clean unlike this big one.

Unit failed within 2 years (power control block failure ) Manufacturer nor Amazon won’t address this issue! Lots of people reported same problem. $200 is in the trash now. It is Loud, rambles and no difference is felt in the room while using it. Snake oil scam

I got this especially for covid virus and l have had it running and l also got one for my son, they also run theirs constantly due to the covid virus, and it helps with other viruses also, his children have not had a cold or been sick all winter, which is amazing because usually they are at the doctor's for some sort of sickness in the winter..l found the same to be true for us as well, we have not had any colds here at home either or flu nothing, so l am pleased with this purchase

ITS LOUD for its size. You MUST put this unit in a room away from your living/sleeping area which might defeat the purpose of having it. I only have it on the LOW fan setting because of the noise. Seems like very cheap construction, lots of plastic. This would be fine if the motor was not so noisy. BC the UV light is not visually quantifiable I will have to see if the unit does what its supposed to but if you plan to put this in your kids or your own bedroom, done do it.
