This is a good practice kit, but don't expect much action.
I bought this primarily for the soldering practice. The numerous LED installation was a good challenge. I put this together in about an hour with a couple checks with the online instruction. Although there's a slot for the card, there are no instruction how to make a TF card with music so the lights come on, but only one segment. Press the on/off switch a couple of time will cause all the LEDs to light which testifies you have them soldered in correctly. Albeit this is a circuit with a micro controller, you are on your own for find out how to program it for other things. I am sure there are some programmers out that would handle this chip. Also the kit came with an infrared receiver diode that you can use with a separately purchased remote control.All in all for the price, this is a bit expensive for the experience.I tried to search for a YouTube video on this unit, but it appears to be too new for anyone to have recorded one.That's my take on it.

Awesome kit!
Awesome kit: fun to assemble and visually stunning to watch in action. Arrived safely in an AMAZON padded envelope with parts sealed in zipped plastic bags. The acrylic case also had protective film to prevent scratching. The kit comes with an instruction sheet that includes a parts list, schematic diagrams, step by step instructions (that you can use as a checklist as you progress) and a QR code to access a detailed assembly manual in PDF format. To prevent errors in component selection and placement, the PDF contains full color pictures illustrating the completion of each step.
