The media could not be loaded.  This is the first drone I have ever flown and it was easy to pick up. I recommend reading through the manual while charging the first battery for flight. The manual instructions are great!!! I'd give the manual a six star rating! Take a look at my video to understand where the red light indicator is on the USB port to understand when the battery is full. The controls are really easy and responsive. The trim works well for fine tuning the hovering. Taking off and landing are a cinch. This was so much fun I want to keep it for myself. But I will be gifting it to one of the kids for Christmas. The price is super reasonable.

It was all great until it CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!!! The kids had used it then sat it on the counter. About 5 minutes later it started smoking and was on fire. Thank God we were home when it happened and thank God one of my kids wasn’t holding it at the time.

UPDATE: Got the battery cover off of the controller with a little help from home tools. It requires 4 AAA so be aware of that. 1st: unfortunately cheap products mean cheap parts. The screw being stripped and the propellers are VERY breakable. (The toy itself is rated 14+ and my son is 8 so take that as you will). 2nd: After that being said, its easy to pair and with a little practice, to fly. 3rd: My son likes to tinker so now we have lost a screw to the propellers so I cant speak to battery life (we got to about an hour with the first use and it will still spin the propellers when turned on but we cant fly it). I could suggest adding parts like that to the package since they thought to include additional batteries and propellers. 4th: overall GOOD STARTER drone. Its value for the money is probably adequate. I look forward to having the ability to buy replacement parts if offered.Second UPDATE: After communicating with the customer service department, I am giving them four stars. I have to say I am impressed at their attention to details and customer satisfaction. Honestly, the greatest experience dealing with a company.Original post: I cant write on how this works because I cant get the battery cover off the control. Everything seems to be great except the included screw driver stripped the screw to the back cover...I will update if and when I can get it off.

What I thought was a good Christmas present, turned out to be a present I wish I never gave.How embarrassing. I buy this for my best friends’ kids. They loved it for the first almost 2 weeks. Then one day it just flies away on its own. No remote control response. Pretty impressive the height it got, but it went so high Their dad lost sight of it and now they no longer have a drone.Hopefully this company will fix the problem so that others don’t feel the same way I do. Like an idiot for buying it.I will update my review if the company contacts me and rectifies the situation.

Beware - sent this drone up once and was able to get it back down. The 2nd time it show up and when I attempted to bring it back down it just kept flying higher and eventually got swept away. It’s gone. Went behind various houses and drove around our neighborhood but could not find it. My son is 6 and it’s 14+ but I’m 36 and I was the one running it. Impossible to control and does not appear to be a drone for kids. Total waste of money and this was the thing he wanted most for Christmas. If you choose to buy just be super conservative with it and be prepared to lose it.

I purchased this drone for my 11 year old son. It is very easy to get started with right away and it works pretty well considering that it's a drone (all have a bit of a learning curve). It comes with two batteries which each give between 7-10 minutes of play when fully charged (That is actually not bad for an inexpensive little drone such as this). The drone has three functions which all work relatively well and are pretty easy to make the drone take off and land in. I highly recommend this as a great first drone and a great toy all around. My only gripes are that the process of exchanging batteries is a bit cumbersome and could easily lead to something breaking. Also, if they had two cords to charge the batteries simultaneously, that would help a lot. That would give a more satisfying amount of flying time per play. Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase.

This drone is an awesome beginner drone. I love the sensors on the sides that react to your hands. It has a self leveling feature that allows it to return level when the controller isn't being used. 1 touch launch feature or just toss it up in the air. Very easy to use for my child and it looks awesome in the air. Good battery life as well and came with two rechargeable batteries.

Edited review- I am extremely impressed with the customer service I received after my initial review. The company reached out to me and replaced my son’s drone. Now my son is more familiar with the operation and I am hoping this new drone I’ll last longer. I do recommend this drone for kids (but, it does have a learning curve.) The customer service was exceptional.Original post- I bought this drone for a birthday present for my son. Within minutes there were six different places the plastic cracked. I attempted to fix with superglue. Then one of the propellers stopped spinning. I looked it over and one of the bottom legs was bent and now the gears aren’t touching preventing the propeller from spinning. My son is super upset because he loved it. It is advertised for kids and these damages were not cause by misuse.
