Bought this for my wife who loves it. Good reception in our area. Controls are simple and easy to operate. Very good sound.

great little radio. i have it in my kitchen which is an interior room and it plays perfectly without having to have the antenna extended. because it is analog i am able to tune it precisely in both am and fm.06/10/2025 updatei've had this radio for over 2 months and use it regularly. yesterday i put batteries in so to see how it worked that way. it is excellent. the sound is very good and and it's actually nice looking and compact.one can fine tune it.

Excellent little am/fm radio. Sound is good! Antennae picks up local stations fairly well. Station I prefer I’ve needed to find the best spot for reception. I’m happy with purchase. And the price was right for what I was looking for!

I love this radio! I’ve been using a different brand for a long time and finally decided to try something new since the tuners kept going out in my old brand. This radio is above and beyond what I expected. It’s got a nice size speaker that gives lots of clear sounding volume. The overall style of the radio looks great and the tuning knobs feel solid and of quality. It takes 4D size, batteries. I use EBL rechargeable batteries and the EBL battery charger. I’ve gotten a couple of years worth of use out of the same set of rechargeable batteries which is used 24 hours a day and charged about every fifth or sixth day. It saves me a lot of money instead of purchasing non-rechargeable ones. I use the radio down at the barn where I don’t have a power outlet close by, so I use batteries. The barn environment is cold & moist in the winter, hot & dusty in the summer, and my horse sometimes bangs the radio around a bit. It continues to work flawlessly. This is my new favorite radio! I bought an extended three-year warranty for a few bucks just in case since it’s used pretty hard in the barn, but so far so good. Absolutely no issues.

Good quality radio uses 4 D batteries or plugs in. Use by my bed on low volume night. Covers up noise well. Depend on it all the time. Cat knocked it off low table antenna not in good shape but doesn’t interfere with local stations I use. A good buy !!! Good quality! Serves needs well!

I just got this radio today, and so far I'm really impressed! Its light weight, but seems pretty solid. Tuning in a station is pretty easy, and there seems to be pretty good separation between nearby stations. It also seems to pick up weaker signals pretty well, especially on the AM band.Sound quality is good, especially for talk radio, with good clarity. However, if you are expecting premium sound for music listening, you might want to consider a stereo " boom box" instead. This radio produces a decent sound for music, but it's a little weak on the bass side. A larger speaker (or 2!) would be a better choice if you really want a better music listening experience. However, the sound is still very clear and pleasant, if a bit thin in the bass.After listening to various programs for about 5 hours or so today, I can honestly say I'm quite happy with my purchase. Time will tell if I'll continue to be satisfied, but aside from some unexpected failure, I think I'll be happy with this radio for a long time!

This radio is getting excellent reception with very good sound quality. I am satisfied that this radio was a very good choice.
